Such a helpful tool! The graph view is great for predicting cook time. It works well when I'm in the kitchen near the device. Improvements that would really help: 1. The device lights are not easy to see, especially outside in the sun. I've often run out of batteries because i didn't realize I'd left out on. 2. Bluetooth isn't very strong, so I lose connection and the app doesn't clearly tell me I'm disconnected. So it's not good for monitoring a pork shoulder smoking in the grill outside.

App works overall. I can monitor temps throughout the cook process. It does disconnect, but I think that's because I get too far away from the device. The main issue I have experienced is it won't let me get passed the doneness temperature screen with several different cuts of meat. Example is the rib eye roast won't let me select the temp and move to next screen. I have to pick a different cut of meat to set the temp.

-Updated review- After some application updates, the interface is much friendlier. Still not exactly clear to disconnect a probe, could be made more obvious. But this is much less aggravating than before, and I don't encounter unnecessary repetitive surveys anymore . -Original review- So aggravating. First, it seems like every time I want to grill, I'm asked to complete a survey. And it obnoxiously refuses to be ingnored. Second, I'm getting pop ups can't connect to device even when I'm not grilling. Most annoying app I've ever installed.

Love the product and tell friends and family it is essential. Have bought additional I probes. Never a connection problem with iPad or Galaxy. I use with iGrill2. Lately it keeps trying to connect non stop when the device is not on. I will force stop the app but it starts trying to connect after a while. Annoying but better than the alternative.

Very good. Can take pictures, save notes to various cook sessions. Watching time-temperature chart is fun. Compared temperature probe to old-fashioned kitchen temperature probe and app reports very accurately. Unfortunately, I'm not able to save the temperature chart after cook sessions as advertised. I hope Weber can fix this bug.

Somewhat Decent. However, the app constantly tries to connect to the igrill. Even when I completely close the app and the igrill is off. Every day for a week after I used the igrill, I would constantly get error messages on the bottom of my screen saying it can't connect to it. Had to uninstall the app because it was so annoying and draining battery. Fix this and I'll give the app 5 stars, but that's a terrible issue that can't be ignored.

I like the fact that I can monitor what is on the grill or the smoker from somewhere else - but that is the only good part of this app. I don't understand why I must put in my LOCATION to get the app to work. I am right here - next tot he thing I am trying to monitor.... .... Duh... You cannot quit the app - without going into your APP settings and stopping the app (according to their help). I used it two days ago and tried to exit without success. I finally stopped all apps, re-booted the phone, and thought all was good. I walked in the house tonight and the app popped up displayed the temperature on the device -- even though I did not start the app (and made sure it was off on my phone several times.....) CREEEEEEEEPY...... The gift that keeps on giving - even when you don;t want it too. Oh - and the one star is because that is the minimum to submit the review - otherwise it would be a 0 Star.

works alright. i don't understand why it must know my location, bluetooth doesn't work with location. that being said, bluetooth has a short range and it can't piggyback off wifi so you must leave your phone within range if you're monitoring for a long cook. i wish there was a selection that it would just monitor temp, and not have to be categorized in a meat. i cook a number of things that aren't a delectable category but i know what temp i want to hit.
