would be great if there aren't do much guessing. The game itself is good, touch/long touch makes it easy enough to play, although i do wish long touching an existing number would highlight those around it like the original game (left and right now buttons at same time function) but the game loses 3 stars because it is friendly not possible to logically solve. A logic puzzle that requires guesswork is truly a useless puzzle. the game regularly includes spots where multiple boxes are each viable.

This is a well designed minesweeper app without ads or nonsense. The app store is filled with so much garbage, it is nice to see an app that isn't all obnoxious monetization. Note that this app does not have the customization options available in other versions of minesweeper, but its available options give boards that work well on a phone screen with touch controls. While it lacks the options of classic Minesweeper, this is a very good version for playing on your phone.

It's a good version of minesweeper. The problem with minesweeper is there's too much guesswork. A board will often come down to one (or more) 50/50 chance where a mine is in one square or the other with no way to tell. I realize the classic game has always been this way. For me—revisiting it in 2020—it just seems like a frustrating waste of time to repeatedly lose to chance in a game of logic.

simple. no clutter, no unnecessary anything. NO ADS. NO ADS!!! REJOICE!!! and because there are no ads, they don't ask for cookies. hence, this app will not take any of your private data. it does as it's intended and does it respectfully well. I love you, game dev.

Everything is on point except the lack of control configuration. So many times I have lost a satisfying win bevause muscle memory to press instead of long press. Edit: Nvm, you get used to it. Just click on the numbers (chording). Simple and intuitive. The best Minesweeper app ever.

Great classic mine sweeper game, but the long press should flag and short press should open. I lose half as many games as I win because I long press to flag, which is the way it should be. It would be super to have the option to select preference.

despite the initial chagrin of longpressing to reveal instead of plant flag and unable to customize the setting to reverse it, this was a really cute app with its 95KB dl size and many interesting methods of customizing your settings in a made-for-android app including skins, bells whistles and the sought after "offline" feature.

Easily found the source code on the developer's Github page. No ads and no privacy invading / security concerning permissions! What's not to like?
