Photon este o aplicație de transfer de fișiere multiplatformă cu sursă deschisă, construită folosind flutter. Utilizează http pentru a transfera fișiere între dispozitive. Puteți transfera fișiere între dispozitive care rulează Photon. (Nu este necesar un router wi-fi, puteți utiliza hotspot)

Photon este capabil să transfere fișiere la o rată foarte mare, dar depinde
pe lățimea de bandă wi-fi.

- 150 Mbps + viteza nu este un clickbait și este de fapt atins cu 5GHz wi-fi/hotspot. Cu toate acestea, dacă utilizați Wi-Fi/hotspot de 2,4 GHz, acesta acceptă până la 50-70 Mbps.*
- Photon nu acceptă HTTPS pe versiunile mai vechi decât v3.0.0. Versiunile mai vechi folosesc generarea aleatorie de cod pe adresa URL pentru securitate, care este încă vulnerabilă la atacul bruteforce. Folosiți HTTPS atunci când este posibil și folosiți fotoni în rețele de încredere.

Works well. Speeds are okay, but not as fast as other apps like Snapdrop. The UI is nice and clean. I wish there is a web interface, though. Installation on Windows for a quick file transfer can deter many people from using Photon. I also ran through an error, so I had to install the 2015 Redistributable to fix it. Not the easiest app to install, but once it is installed, it's easy and simple. I like Photon.

Best app for sharing files between cross platform devices. Tried it between two android phones and android to pc as well. Simple and beautiful UI. Works smoothly. One suggestion is that files history section should have some options like view details of the file, delete the file etc. Also since this is an open source app, it should be available in F-droid. Lastly, Keep the project alive. Loved it every bit.

I've tried many file sharing apps such as Mi Share, Zapya, SendAnywhere etc but all of them ask for tons of unnecessary permissions and the speed is mostly aweful with multiple failed attempts. This is probably the only app which asked for bare minimum permission and the speed is shockingly fast. It took lees than 5 minutes for me to send a 5GB file which usually takes more than 20-25 minutes through SendAnywhere. I would love to donate the developer to keep the project alive.

Great app, not anymore for me. Very unreliable. Just lost a 2gb family video and its gone forever I was sending a bunch of files and 2 videos just cancelled themselves. I'd better use propietery software. File names with other english characters dont get sent.

The app is amazing but there's a bug (maybe) whenever i connect my laptop with my mobile hotspot and share a file from laptop to Mobile it gives an average speed of 300mbps but if send a file from mobile to laptop then the speed drops to 50mbps which is the same speed i get if i switch my hotspot from 5ghz to 2.5ghz i use other apps and they seems to work fine maybe you can fix it other than that absolutely loved it

A very good application to use. I tried to transfer photos and it's as fast as a photon. I need to check on transferring large files. FYI—we need to connect 2 devices through a hotspot to transfer files.

Exactly what I needed. Ad free, hustle free, cross platform file transfer. The app is pretty smooth and very functional. I can even share apps without internet and it is seemingly fast too.

Awesome application. One small suggestion, first let the connection be established and then sending option shall be shown. Because while selecting the required files, the recieve option on the other device stops.
