Completely useless! When you click on a story, you get a white screen. No point in having this app. Update 12/25/2021. App freezing is annoying. When will you send an Update to fix this problem? Update 1/6/21.. no change or fix in months. Every story freezes, you have back out and go back in to finish a story or try to before it freezes again. The funny part is, Every newscast, Fox 8 keeps telling us how great the app is and why we should download it. But the reality is the app is trash.

The Mr. Hero ad that frequently covers the whole screen when I first open the app doesn't always load now, so I cant click off of it, so I just have to close the app and restart it in hopes the ad won't pop up again. The embedded image galleries never load. So for articles that include photos I never get to see the photos. I turned off all video functions because the ads would stop any music I was playing, and I have the app because I want to read the news, not watch videos about it.

Annoying app! Jumpy and jerky when you go to the article you want to read. Then you get a bar to continue reading, which is also jumping around. Then when you finally get to the rest of the article, the screen goes white. WTH. Ready to uninstall and get a different Cleveland station. Update 11/11/20. Your app still sucks. Some stories open to a white blank page. I'm done! Going elsewhere. Would rate you zero stars if I could. YOUR APP SUCKS!!!

Wow...what has happened to this app?? I was so excited to finally see an "update" available this morning. Complete let down. "Continue Reading" really guys?? I just clicked on the story for one reason only, To Read It! Aside from the slow load times, this "Continue Reading" has got to be addressed asap. Like YouTube Music asking me if "I'm still listening" and stopping the music. Duh..I know how to turn it off. Anyways I'm sure tons of 6th graders are home that can help fix Fox 8 app. Thanks

Can't swipe between news stories, it redirects you to the main page. Reinstalled on a different phone 6 years later. When you click on an article, you can only read the first 2 paragraphs and have to click a "continue reading" button, which then causes the screen to freeze and go blank. Will uninstall again because they can't get it right. I'm disappointed because I like the channel 8 WJW news on the tv, but can't connect by app. Will have to switch to WOIO 19 because their app works!

Now its very messy!!! It had its issues in the past, but now you can't watch live without constantly touching the screen to keep it from turning off, all the articles are mixed in with adds, you keep thinking you got to the end, but its another add. Then all of a sudden the articles end, but it appears to be an add, the CONSTANT pop up videos taking up half the screen is annoying too.

Live stream doesn't work. pictures featured in headlines don't show in articles. Adds take over articles and you have to completely reload them. If I click on an article to read once it's loaded it's hidden and asks if you want to continue reading it,?! Yes that's why I picked the article to read!!! Pt 2 somehow this app manages to keep getting worse. Now you can't save or share articles either

This Fox 8 Cleveland app used to be a great app. Over the past few months (Not sure exactly when) the app has declined in usability. I will click on a story to read and after a few seconds of reading the story will just go away. The print will disappear and the background will remain; however, it will just be a white screen. Sometimes you can fix this by go out of the story and then back in 3 or 4 times but that's not a good user experience in my opinion.
