Have been with Karma for a few years and they are great. There have been a few bugs or glitches within the app but that is to be expected, it is an app after all. The app doesn't assign you the gigs, a real live person goes through everyone who applies so don't give an app a negative review if you don't get hired. I wish the available gig list wouldn't jump back to the top If I tap on 1 near the bottom, Toronto often has a big list and it's difficult to find my place again

Really good app especially for part time occasionally work. I love the BA jobs they post. The app itself is easy to navigate too.

whenever a message is sent on the app i have to resign-in. many many times gigs are shown, but not actually available,. not sure if this is an app problem or lack of update by the personnelle. Also, for your nesx update, can you please add the days of the weeks? it's very annoying to see the date needed for work but not know if it a Saturday or a Monday. Little improvements like that would make this app 5*.

I am not giving it 1 start due to app issues, I am giving it 1 start due to the hiring process Seems they have favoritism in the hiring process plus they say it takes 1 to 2 months for the process. It is just a gig, not some managerial or executive position and I find it should be first come first serve basis on getting a shift and not always choosing who you want.

Terrible employer with clearly visible favoritism towards "old" BAs (i.e. always hiring the same lazy, non-working ones). And then you wonder why they lose contracts every now and then, have to work last minute to find replacements for gigs, and the worst of the worst, why they reduced the hourly rates for ALL gigs. Stay away if you don't want to be treated like a number.

I was getting gigs for a long time and I have a lot of experience about 10 years and a degree but now I don't get any gigs anymore and nobody respond to my emails as to why. Maybe it's just gotten more competitive but still

the app sucks. I've been applying to a lot of shifts but didn't get booked. I have done over 100+ Activation in the promo industry and they still couldn't book me. It's their loss.

They still email me about gigs as if Anastasia paid me for the 25 hours of work I was owed back in 2018 😂 Don't work here unless you're okay with not getting paid for hours already worked. Rates may seem great but they're only great if you get paid 100% and not when they feel like it. They prey on students so they can take advantage of them and whenever Anastasia wants to make her bonus she stiffs a few workers to reduce her cost as manager. -5/5
