Ok, so in a dark car park, read the name of the charger, read which port you're socketed into, and remember them while you find the way out - there's no phone signal. Then enter them into the app, which gives no feedback on whether it's working. Then , come back hours later to find you've done no charging. This app should not exist! I don't want your nonsense account, just swipe my damn card! I will avoid podpoint whenever possible.

Absolutely useless. Plugged in to point to find its not on their map. Tried to call in, spent 10 mins on hold as #1 in queue...had to give up. Tried to log issue retrospectively and seems impossible as they force you to self serve knowledge. Perfect example of automation gone wrong. Ultimately, end to end experience painful and pointless. Would give 0 stars if possible.

So, so for public charging. They have a lot of chargers, but gets confused easily. It's slow to use the map, having to wait seconds to process a pinch + zoom at large map sizes. It doesn't gracefully handle the 'charge a different driver' case well - assumes gps, when actually I'm nowhere near the charger i want to start. Finally when confirming charge, it often doesn't give you any way to cancel, as it goes back to 'charging' as if someone else is using it - have to manually release plug.

Terrible app and bad experience, avoid at all costs. Terrible customer services. I put £5 credit on my account and it was never applied to my balance. Customer services said they could see the transaction went through and I just needed to do 'basic maths'. Not even registering the fact my money was not credited in their antiquated system after 4-5 emails. There is no way to even track any of this in the app at all. App uninstalled, not even if they join a scheme like electroverese will I go back

It does work and I was able to charge the car but it is the worst EV charging app I know. Please have a feature to allow you to start and end the charge from the app and see how long you have been charging and how much you have spent. In others words - sort your app out it is rubbish.

Worse than BP Pulse. And that's a low bar... 1) 2 Step verification code expires in 30s, so if you aren't in Pod Point developers office, it can expire before you receive it. If first code doesn't work, subsequent codes don't work. You can't copy-paste the code into the app! How idiotic is that. 2) If you "claim" a charge, it continues to say "claim charge or session will end in 15mins" 3) No updates of charge added or account balance. 4) Still has dubious practice of pre-payment. Untested?

You can not trust it to work. Sometimes it works; more often it does not. Sometimes a 'unplug/on-off-on/plug back in' works, but increasingly not. Charging at home should be easy! So bad I can't believe they sell it.

Forces you to use 2FA to actually charge your car, but says it's "optional". Requires you to use mobile 2FA which is poor practice rather than an authenticator TOTP token, so they can get your phone number too so that more of your personal details will leak in the event of a hack. Not to mention, you need to use this app because they refuse to integrate with a card reader on charge points or other charge card schemes e.g. Motability Go
