This app is hilariously bad. The UI is incredibly unresponsive. Tap and you'll wait 4-5 seconds for something to happen. Same when going "back". It's been almost 2 years since this thing was released and I still can't see a list of groups I've subscribed to (kind of a basic feature). The notifications are annoying. "Someone posted near you", but it was 8 months ago. Do you really need to notify me? And then there's the annoying "PSA" notifications they send over and over.

App is slow, clunky, and just generally doesn't function well. Can't choose your own photos for posts, or search for any beyond what they give, which makes no sense. Half the time your posts are never approved, or it takes multiple hours if they ever are. I understand why they do this system, but they need to be efficient with it. Bottom of the trash bin Whisper wannabe clone - I won't bother with it again.

Was okay until you couldn't use the app for more than 2 seconds without getting long video ads. There's not even a paid version, if you don't want to get ads all the time you can choose to watch a grand total of 2.2 hours (real calculation, not made up number) of ads one at a time for ONE MONTH of ad free usage. The app has become basically unusable.

Great to meet people and chat... Too bad it runs REALLY bad. Slow, unresponsive, poor UI. Almost unusable and easily deletable. Ads are awful - scrolling or halfway through a message and an ad blows your head off. As soon as I see an ad I force close the app, and often just don't reply to the person.

Premise is decent but it's basically unusable. Messages are invisible sometimes, it won't even let me open messages, it freezes up constantly so I have to close and reopen. And I don't even get messages that are sent to me half the time. I will say, I do like being able to toggle photo receiving that is a good feature that saves my eyes from unwanted surprises

I don't normally write reviews at all, but I decided to in this case because ever since whisper went down, I've been using this app, and it it the worst experience. The app is constantly freezing, and I have to force close it to get it to start running again. The app feels very clunky and slow, too. I hope they fix this because it truly does have potential as an app, but it desperately needs a lot of work.

I just downloaded hush. I post and I start receiving dms. Which is good. But I only received them for a total of 10 minutes. I have unread messages and I can not open the message icon. When I try, it just reloads the page for more recent posts. It will NOT take me to my messages. I asked a friend who uses this app regularly. She complains there's always something wrong with the app. I believe her. If I could give half a star I would.

Too many BASIC features missing, lots of stuff is broken. If someone messages you from your post you can click to go back to that post but if they message me from a reply, you can't. Your replies don't appear in "your replies". The in app notifications are flooded with "someone near you posted" which I can't disable so actual replies to me are buried away. Some of the groups I join don't appear in my groups. I want this to succeed where whisper failed and then died but it's not looking good
