This application was installed and running for about 9 months. After updating my phone to Samsung S24, this app will not open. I uninstalled, redownloaded the app, and got the same result. I hope there's an update to get this application up and running again. UPDATE: Apparently, there has been an update, and this app is now working expected. Thank you for making the app work on the S24!

Like everyone else said, the app constantly crashes. From the second you download it. It tells you to clear the cache because of a bug which doesn't help. My husband got me the robot vacuum for Christmas and I've been getting it set up, but I'm unable to control it remotely thanks to this trash app. If the developers ever decide to make it usable, I'll update my rating. Until then I'd rate zero stars if I could. UPDATE: posted my original review on Christmas 2023. Still doesn't work AT ALL. 😀👍

I just recently bought a new B+D smart home kit with a thermostat, smart bulb, and smart outlet. Unfortunately, it seems the app was "updated" last November (based on the comments), and it is now nonfunctional. It let me create an account, send a verification code, and let me enter a password. But when I try to add a device, it crashes. And the only support option in the Play Store is the email address for one particular person who may not work there anymore.

IT used to work great and just today as I am out of town the app has crashed and now everytime I open it it says there is a bug and it can't open and to clear the cache. Clearing the cache doesn't do absolutely anything and it instantly crashes again. So now I have spent the money on a thermostat I could control when I am not home and it is useless. Seems alot of people are having the same issue and there is no answer for a fix. Extremely upset and disappointed.

Can't even add a device to it without it crashing. Edit: months later, after reinstalling app I can add my device but it doesn't do anything when I click on the device or it crashes. The Alexa skill also does nothing. So I still can't use the smart features. Don't wast time or money on black and decker smart devices they don't work due to the apps.

This app is busted or no longer supported. Got a Black&Decker Robo Vacuum for Christmas. Tried using the app to create schedules but couldn't get past the add device screen. Every time I tried adding the device to the app the app would crash. I sent an email that never received a reply. It's been 2 weeks. Thank God the device comes with a remote or this purchase would have been refunded quickly.

I used the app without a problem for over a year with my B&D thermostat. Once upgrading to the Samsung S24 from S23 the app just crashes after loading. Luckily Alexa can still control the thermostat once you link your B&D info even if you uninstall the B&D app. I've read that there is a fix to be posted but still waiting on the writers of that app.

The app worked as expected until about a week ago, and since then, the app has crashed every time. When I open the app, a notice saying there is a bug. Cmon B&D get it fixed so I can use my cool thermostat again. Update-2.6.24: No response from support yet. Update-3.25.24: Uninstalled the app, then reinstalled it. The app worked great for a couple of days, but then it didn't work again. There has been nothing from support yet.
