Hasn't really worked since the day I installed it. I consider myself lucky if it ever plays anything. When it does play, it's great, but unfortunately that doesn't happen very often. Edit: Thank you for the fixes. Works beautifully now. Deeply grateful for this app. One issue though: I am not able to log on to the app from my new phone. I have tried to reset the password but the app does not recognize my email address. It would be great if this could be fixed.

The latest version of the Maharishi Veda app is in continuous use in our household, and it makes a wide range of traditional Vedic performances readily accessible. Everyone should upgrade, as there are many new recitations available, along with improved versions of previous tracks. New content comes out all the time. It's easy to set up Gandharva Ved to be playing in the background day and night; and one can select favorites and let them run as a playlist. Highly recommended!

Now the new app is up and running it is running perfectly. One odd thing: The Commentary on the Bhagavad Gita doesn't go beyond verse 1. Following the commentary for verse 1, at the end of track 2; track 3 begins with Vernon Katz reading the whole 6 chapters again, with the commentary missing. I've tried many times but cant seem to get past this. If I'm missing something in the navigation, please let me know. Otherwise I am delighted with the new app.

Great content BUT the timer doesn't work any more. At some point maybe 2 or 3 minutes before the end of the 10-minute slot I have requested the timer just stops and the track keeps playing and playing till the end. Another long standing annoyance, still in place, is that progress along a track is not remembered. Twice a day I want 10 mins of Vishnu and once a day 10 mins sama veda. I have to manually adjust the start place each time.

Music willl start and stop whenever it wants. Always asks for password when the app opens. The "download" button is clearly just for show as it does not actually download. I went into the files of my phone and i could not find the music i supposededly downloaded. Terrible app, reminiscent of the organization that created it.

I have been enjoying Gandharva Veda for many years, I used to buy it on cassette tape, then CD, and now to have it all on my phone is nothing short of a miracle! I no longer have to work out the best music for the time of day, because the app does that for me. Also the range of instrumentation on offer is abundant, and the shenai is my favourite. On top of all this, the subscription fees support the groups of vedic pandits who are creating harmony in world consciousness. This app is a win/win/win! Thanks to all who created it.

Update on Sept 2021. The app in android is nearly unusable for lengthy tracks. eg. Vishnu Sahasranamam wont play full. Lalita Sahasranama wont play ful.. I tried many diff diff mobiles android mobiels and same issue. I contacted developers several time they ignore completly. Now what I am doing is using my laptop and play this. In Laptop this working perfectly. Android is totally unusable. Anway I remain in subscription because of loyalty towards vedic pandits and its chants. Developers should consider at its priority to correct the issue. They ignoring the issue even after multiple mentions. Saavn, Gaana , Spoty all working perfectly but why this issue in this App. So reducing 2 stars because of this unprofesionalim from developers part. About App This is a wonderful app. I will explain the benefits that I experienced. First of all recently I got initiated to Transcendental Meditation by Rajesh Sir, TM Teacher Kerala. Transcedental Meditaiton is simply awesome. This app complements TM practise. Even for a TM Practioners the app helps a lot. Just listen to stotras with closed natural non forcing mind and I felt amazing at the end. Several times I feel the situations getting enhance because of the power of Vedic Chants. Surely a great boon for busy software professoinals like us; I daily spend somtime Listneing this. There is an option to downlaod and listen which is great. The app is working fine. There is scope for improvement, but overall it works, esepcialy the downloaded chantings works better. Recently after my subscription is renewed, I was logged out automatically and I logged in again, but other than that not any issues ever experienced.

I really appreciate the MaharishiVedaApp. I have always had it on my phone and it always worked very well! I have the updated version on my phone now and although it says it is installed I don't have access. My account is paid in full. "Please help resolve this issue.
