The app is trouble! There is no offline mode and you only get 5 minutes to get a pass. Mta better off doing apple pay because this app is a ripe off.

1.This app has faults! It needs a way to cancel a ticket purchase! I don't ride the Regional Bus BUT I accidentally tapped Regional instead of Primary. Could NOT cancel it! Went to Costumer Service Downtown. I asked if I could get a Credit or Refund, she said "It's not our fault!" and "We don't do Refunds!" , kept hearing this over and over again! Looks like MTA is MORE than HAPPY to take your money BUT they don't want to give it back! 2.Got an unknown 50 cent charge!

It works but needs to have a configured offline mode or something, there was situations where i may not have data or cell service and couldn't use the app which makes having bus fare or physical passes a better option

I'd rather be able to buy the rides individually. There's no way to refund the remaining balance if you don't need the app anymore either.
