The device has been super helpful with mostly no issues. However, they recently sent an update to the machine that makes it very difficult to get a missed dose from the machine even if you are still within the window of time to take it. The initial command for the button is to skip the dose and once you get passed that, you have to press additional buttons to get it to actual dispense. It is very frustrating.

Originally, I had some issues with the device. Great pill dispenser, and now that they have added the app, it has better visualization. 👍 I'm definitely glad I made the purchase. Was a software button that locked out front button controls. " remote dispensing" problem resolved.

Pros: The process for getting the machine was facilitated by a NP. Delivery was fairly quick. Hero customer service is friendly and responsive. The machine is easy to use for English readers. The app is useful. Cons: Customer service is difficult to reach, they have taken up to 2 days to respond. No Spanish on machine. No settings for low pill warning on app. Machine needs to be refilled about every 2-3 weeks for large pills. Would be nice to be able to use 2 cubes for larger pills.

There's good 👍😊👍 & bad in this app and device! It's great that you're not refilling med boxes ☑️✅ but on the other hand it's very expensive 🫰😔 almost 50$ monthly. WTH 😒 & locks 🤯 🔒 you out of your meds if you miss a day or so of not 🚫 paying warnings don't be poor or late. And it's also miss counted my meds dangerous!! So back to my med's box 🎁🤟💯💯💯 Imma go back to! Thank you 🙏😊.

I spoke to them again on 9.3.24. I've had my dispenser for 4 years. I've repeatedly reported a technical issue 3.5 years. I've simply been lied to repeatedly about the system requirements. If support had just been honest from the beginning I wouldn't be writing this review. I paid my subscription 2 years in advance. They told me 9.3.24 if I cancel they would not refund me for my advance payment. If you're looking for a medication dispenser, take another look at the other options in the market.

zero support. call us link doesn't work. chat takes over 36 hours to get a response which is sorry it took so long, everyone was busy, what was the issue again. that is followed by no response via chat after you tell them the issue, again. Followed by an email, to which I replied, followed by no response from Hero. It has been 5 days since help with an issue was requested, and nothing helpful from Hero.

I used to forget which medications I took and sometimes I forget to take them at all. This machine has been a tremendous help reminding me to take the correct medications at their appropriate times. Even when I travel it lets me know the number of pills to bring, then reminds me at the appropriate time to take them. I would be in sad shape without the Hero machine.

They say that it is ok to love a hero, and I do love my Hero pill dispenser. No more opening pill jars 2 or 3 times a day. Just push the dispense button and you are ready to go.
