They need a better notification method. I had a 3hr window for delivery. I made plans around the delivery. If I didn't randomly decide to check the app an hour later, I wouldn't have known that my delivery was suddenly changed to THE NEXT DAY. I would've been sitting around waiting. I had to completely change all of my plans. It seriously inconvenienced a lot of people. I know things happen. Perhaps a text message or automated voice call. Hope they take this into consideration.

My experiences with Instacart for the most part have been positive. Service has been good, shoppers are really great. They listen and work with you regarding missing items. Customer service works with you to solve problems. Instacart should install an app to give your delivery people the ability to pull up your ID to prove you're over 21. I'm always forgetting my ID or they can't get it to work and both take additional. Sometimes they can't get it to scan and it takes extra time from both ofus

As someone who has been using Instacart for a few years. I'll admit that the quality of service has been declining. Instacart does fix important issues such as missing items and damaged items instantaneously, but when it comes to emailing issues to customer service. They're simply not there. Some drivers have been less than satisfactory lately too. I don't know what's been going on, but I hope nobody gets a driver that purposely tries to limit their order.

Groceries are upcharged from what actual store charges. I paid way too much for an order that would have only cost me 75-80$, had I not had pneumonia and been able to go myself. And honestly, this isn't including the delivery fee AND tip - which, I could only do 15% because of how much more the groceries appeared to be. Delivery was fine, nothing wrong otherwise. But I would have saved more if I'd been able to pay a friend 20$ to help me out. Wish I'd done that instead. :/

It's a scam. They delivered me the wrong product. The driver was super nice, told me to use the help button on app. I got charged $649.42 for the wrong item. The item delivered retails at $79.99. Driver said it's instacarts policy to not give the customer the receipt (very suspicious). After submitting numerous complaints (most went unanswered) I decided to go to Klarna and put a stop payment. Now Klarna is awaiting a response after over a week of waiting. Classic bait and switch. Don't use.

Customer of 5+ years here:: I don't understand why it's an option to have delivery windows for an extra expense when its never delivered in the window you pay an extra $10 for. If you can't perform a service don't offer it. I used to love this service, but it's a disappointment every order anymore. I'm chill about the random replacements but arriving late when you paid for rush is paying for a service that doesn't exist. I'm removing the app from my phone and reporting this to the feds.

Could really use a dark mode for those of us sensitive to bright light. I (as likely many others) tend to add items from recent orders or lists, and the recent changes not only make that more difficult by moving the icon to access these things, they also make it way more difficult than it should be. It's bad enough that grocery stores constantly move things around, it simply wasn't necessary for this app. Also, some items are not providing a dialog to add to cart.

I absolutely love Instacart. I use it mostly for groceries because I hate going into stores. The shoppers are always professional, courteous, and always in time. If something isn't in stock, they're very good with picking a substitute. I've never had issues with Instacart, unlike some other apps I won't mention. My apartment isn't easy to find, but I do have detailed directions that the shoppers always pay attention to. They're also very good with communication. 10/10 do recommend.
