Once you enter "dial" mode to make a phone call, there is no way to click back to re-enter the main menu. I have to shut down and re-launch the app. After waiting 5 mins, the app still said no Sat connection, even though it was connected on the Iridium Go device's sceewn. Again I had to exit and reopen the app before it would register for making calls. This app requires an immediate update. It's been 12 months, please update.

When people contacted me through the iridium go SMS website, I always got their texts twice. Some characters did not get translated, and often the texts were hard to decipher. Also, the app would tell me when I had new text messages but there was no way to sort the list of text messages to see who had actually sent it and I'd have to go through each contact to see if there were new messages at the end of the thread.

This app completely sucks for the amount of money you're spending on safety. Constantly dropping the wifi, logging me out, won't let me change settings. A person could literally die waiting for this to correctly work. Then to get the "information" you best have a land wifi plan in which case why do I need the Go? In addition I am constantly on with support from predict wind. I will be waiting for dishy as soon as we hit land for a while. This isn't even solid for a good back up.

This most buggy app ever. Beside iridium hardware being unreliable, this app does not make using the service any better. If you leave the app open you will miss a lot of sms messages. There is also a new 'feature' when your text message will appear with some obscure date in the past. This app seems to be less buggy on iOS, but they completely dropped a ball on Android

Just updated and the issue that prevented me connecting to the device without placing my phone into aeroplane mode then enabling WiFi only is back! If I don't perform this step I get the message could not communicate with Iridium Go every time I enter a username and password. So fuatrating given this problem was fixed in the previous version I was running! I am on the latest Android Inc patch level on a Pixel 3 XL. Grrrr!!!

This app is super glitchy. When I open messages it scrolls to the top of the convo and makes me scroll down through the whole conversation to get to the new messages. Constantly have issues logging in, constantly have issues receiving messages. Terrible app. Smart enough to build a satelite communication network, but not smart enough to design a reliable user friendly application

Since the latest version of Android, I could not login, it just just going in a loop at the login screen. Iridium support advised to put the plane in airplane mode, and then connect via wifi. It worked, but not a great solution It really needs some proper testing, and development. The Iridium Go device is a good product (and expensive) but it relies on this poor application to work. If my life depended on it, I would by a full sat phone, not the Iridium Go.

Unbelievably buggy. As others have said, simple things such as returning from the dial screen doesn't work. As a premium service, I'd expect better. But with next to no competition, this is what we have. I'm sure many of us are eagerly awaiting Starlink Direct2Cell.
