Every time I finish reading an article and use the back arrow to go back to the main page the application returns to the first headline. It should be fixed to work like other news apps where it returns to where you left off in the list so you don't have to scroll down back to where you were previously to continue reviewing the headlines. This behaviour is very annoying and I don't use the app very much as a result.

'Mostly just headlines and ads. Even worse though, when you click back after reading an article if there ever is one other than a headline, it goes back to the very top of the 1st page of the app instead where in line the article was placed in the list!! You are forced to scroll all the way down EVERY time. Poor programming, not well thought out. I'll get my news elsewhere.

Used to be a really great app with free content, but recently there was an update that has seriously compromised it. When you finish reading an article and click the back button, it returns you to the very top of the stories list. Please correct this so I don't continuously lose my place. I do enjoy the new dark mode and the content is reliably good! There is also an issue where you click on some stories but all you get is the headline and an ad, but no other content. Hope they fix it!

App redesign is dreadful!! Far less content at first glance ... they want all sorts of personal information and preference from you in order to provide access to content. They've turned this from a useful source of unbiased news into a platform to collect your personal information and filter content. Whoever thought of these changes should be fired. I WANT THE OLD APP BACK !!

The new version of the app is a disaster. Even long time subscribers can't log in because their account can't be found. Although the billing system doesn't have that problem. To continue using NP/FP apps DO NOT INSTALL THE NEW ONES. Also odd, the technical support folks refuse to address the issues. They don't even acknowledge customers contacting them. Obviously, if there were a "0" stars rating, that's what they would get.

I really enjoyed this app. Not sure if the upgrade I made to Android 12 had anything to do with it but NP is now very unstable and continues to reboot itself entry time I return to homepage and, usually now, the first time it is opened and before a selection can be made. Very time consuming to get to NP's otherwise fine articles

Stories often won't load, app crashed If you're looking for a version of The National Post with stories that crash your android and articles that won't load, this app is great. If you're tired of being able to read the news and enjoy the newspapers content, then this app is for YOU. However, if you like reading the newspaper, stick to their website and save your phone

Your app isn't working. I click on links and there is no story just the photo. Been happening a lot lately and forces me to use other news apps. Even worse, I tried emailing you via the support link and it bounced back as the email is invalid forcing me to post on the play store. Just brutal.
