Update: I thought it was bad, but this app continues to get worse. Constant updates move functionality making it even more difficult to navigate, even to the point where acknowledging an incident is hard. The app now tries to fit too much information in a limited space. The text has shrunk to an unreadable size, and actual useful data is multiple clicks deep in triage. Bad, bad UI. When you have a page for a critical service, trying to navigate a horrible UI is not what one needs to be doing.

Only had it installed for a couple days, but in Android 14, it doesn't work with Modes in that it doesn't show up as an app to choose in the list to bypass Do not Disturb. I have work and sleep modes that mute notifications for almost everything, and I need to add this app as a bypass, but it does not appear in the list to choose.

Please default to open incidents again (or give me the choice). The most common things I use the app for is Acknowledging, Snoozing and resolving incidents, and also creating a new page. All of this is now hidden behind another tap from the new home screen using a narrow bit of text which can be missed easily. I understand there can be some useful info in there, but I would much rather THAT information be more taps away. I used to be able to open the app, quickly swipe and be done; no more.

Functionality-wise it works great. Aesthetically it keeps going downhill. They need to stop adding clutter to the home screen, or at least let users choose what to display on the home screen. When I open the app I want to immediately see my incidents, these days you have to click into another screen to see them.

Samsung flip 5, all permissions are set correctly, test notification works fine. I do not get push notification, sms or email when new tickets come in. The app does not make a sound. This app is useless. ‐---- Edit: I was able to fix this by updating the notification settings on the pagerduty website not within the app. So stupid that the app doesn't sync with the website settings. ---- Edit: The developer responded to my review below but their response does not address the issue

Junk. To my surprise, this app has started to refuse to open, claiming my device is rooted. I didn't get any communication from pagerduty's company about this which is extremely concerning considering the point of their app is clear communication. Pagerduty reneging on their mission is extremely concerning undermines my confidence in their products. Furthermore, they are blatantly lying about rooted devices support, because in actuality they had to do *more* work to block them. Untrustworthy!

The app does not allow you to set a continuous alert notification. It's been a feature request since 2018 and is trivial to implement on Android (see documentation on FLAG_INSISTENT) but apparently the devs don't care about their customers' requests. The slack integration drops all enrichment data from posts and there is no way to format slack messages yourself, although this is also trivial to implement. I recommend OpsGenie instead.

It's what I consider to be a necessary evil of late. Background battery consumption is atrocious - 21% (since last charge) with 1m screen on time. By comparison, a 46m Google meeting used 3%. Sadly this app needs to be 'unrestricted' in order to receive notifications so having it as 'optimised' defeats the purpose and hides the problem. Useful to ack/read alerts and quickly check if I'm on call. Otherwise only marginally better than SMS for my use case. Used to be fine and I would score 4 stars.
