Great app for organizing your personal photos, or photos to share with friends or the public. On top of categorizing, you get to add curators to your "plates", enabling more content creators. However, it lacks the ability to upload multiple photos. And it is not as polished smooth, loading takes awhile. Image quality uploads aren't impressive neither, which larger sized files will be greatly compressed. Overall, a great app, considering it's free-to-use too!

This app is unique to photographers and it runs incredibly smooth. What I really enjoy is the ability to see a variety of photography shots without the excessive clutter of ads / sponsors / not-related posts like other social media apps. This is purely for those who appreciate photography of all types and wish to follow works of certain people. Highly recommend!

To say the least, this app is one of a kind. Nothing to complain, really. The developer or the team is actually responsive. I had an issue, I told that to the team and they helped me. No ads, no paid membership, nothing to disturb a user and loaded with features. It really helps me to categorise my photos. Every photo enthusiast should give it a try. Thanks.

A great app for organising photos. Personally, I enjoy it to place a lot of images of certain types together. I've not found it particularly easy to make much headway with Plates as a social media app so far, it has mainly been for me to organise my photos. I'd like to see it become more robust as a platform for sharing and meeting like-minded photographers. Had little interaction in that sense on the app but will persevere.

Plates is a great, polished platform for photographers of all facets and artists, both digital and analog! Images are displayed nicely and appears to be high resolution. Great concept of creating and collaborating on albums or Plates. I'd like to be able to view landscape oriented photos better by turning my phone and I wish the profile was more customizable. Hence 4 stars. But overall a great experience, because there's NO SPAM! If you hate Instaspamers, this app is worth exploring!

It's ok. Format is boring. No real rhyme nor reason for this app. It just puts the photos on the main page and you scroll to keep seeing others work. Creating a plate is easy, but no real reason for it. Plates refers to the glass negatives once used in large format photography. No way to delete an account from the app.

Plates is a fantastic photography app which allows you to have separate folders for different types of photography be it Landscapes or toy photography. What is even better is that there's no restriction on the size of the image unlike Instagram. There's no need for hashtags, rather subscribe to the different types of photography which you're interested in and subscribe to accounts or there Plates. Overall I would highly recommend Plates and really enjoyable.

Not sure where these reviews are coming from. App is very slow and really has no social aspect, rhyme or reason. It is however unique and has potential, but it has spun it's tires for so long, I wouldn't hold my breath.
