I'm SO happy there's an app that teaches Lithuanian beyond basic greetings. The lessons are short enough to tackle but challenging enough that they keep you engaged and learning. I subscribed just for this great course. My greatest complaint is the tests for pronunciation. The sensor is very finicky and often mishears you. Do overs don't fix your score. I've done the same test 14 or 15 times and still can't get 3 stars because the sensor is off and even one "bad" reading ruins your score.

So far this is the only really good language learning app I've found that has Lithuanian. I'm very excited to learn my father's first language better! I'm only tell chapters in and my reading and understanding has already improved so much. I only wish that there was a way to see the explanation cards that are in the chapters after I've finished the chapter without having to redo the section

The learning side is very good, similar to Duolingo. However, your voice learning doesn't work in the slightest. It can't even pick up basic words like 'labas' or 'aciu'. I was using it today and it was even telling me I was saying completely different words. For €16 a month it's very expensive and it doesn't work

Master Ling app is good enough only to learn new words, but even then there are translation mistakes. It seems that the words were matched against English source across all languages, which inevitably lead to incorrect translations. It seems that no one bothered to check the context in the native language. Furthermore, the exercise examples consistently get the gender wrong (for example, masculine gender words are translated in their feminine form), they ignore the flexibility of word order or, alternatively, provide word order that, although technically isn't wrong, would never be used by a native speaker. I also don't like that that illustrations quite often don't make any sense (for example, a picture of a boy and a girl is supposed to mean ''cousins'', a random number of 0,29xxxxx is supposed to mean ''7 AM'', and an emoji that looks something like this (x_x) is supposed to mean "to feel"). The voice recognition either recognizes incorrect pronunciation as 100% correct or doesn't register voice at all. It is capable of recognizing only short phrases correctly. Finally, I also don't like that the exercises are very easy. It would be possible to select correct answers only by deduction without actually knowing the word or phrase. It doesn't get harder as the difficulty progresses. The app lists difficulties from beginner to advanced, but actually they all are for beginners and you would have to braindead to fail the modules (or simply not pay attention). One of the most common type of exercises is to fill the gaps, for example, to fill the missing letters or words. The gaps are chosen randomly and sometimes it's so ridiculous that you need to select a bracket '')" to fill the gap. Ah, and the report form doesn't actually work. I guess one can't expect much from these type of applications. But for 10 EUR/a month I would have expected better quality control. As I've said, Master Ling is good enough for learning new words and the interface is conveniet, too. Hence, the two stars instead of one.

Good app and easy to follow lessons but no sort of clear explanation of lesson overview of what you're learning like end changes and sentence structures. After a certain point the speaking test feels like it doesn't work anymore so I also give up trying to get all 3 stars for it. If these things were fixed I'd give it 5 stars.

It's great and my Lithuanian friend says it is actually extremely acurate and helpful.

The majority of the app is good. The lesson structure is good and I feel like I've made progress with learning Lithuanian. I sent an email to support looking for advice because even though I've completed all the tasks in each unit I've done so far, the bar isn't showing complete. I don't know if I've missed anything and no one has emailed back. The speaking exams don't work well at all. My Lithuanian born boyfriend says I'm saying the words correctly, and when he tries and he can't pass them.

It was helpful with learning a few words and phrases, and the pronunciation is a really helpful feature as some of the words are difficult to say. However the app voice recognition is buggy and doesn't register correct or incorrect pronunciation. It doesn't specify if the word being said is masculine or feminine, so when I talk to my boyfriend a native speaker, he's always correcting the vocabulary because I learned the wrong word. And test would be better if it had no translation to be harder
