The worst mobile ordering app of all time. At best it works 25% of the time I try ro place an order. Even when it does work, it's slow af and usually resets itself multiple times. It makes you manually choose the sonic location every time which is also, miserably slow. Every update, you think, "It can't get any worse at least." WRONG. They will find a way to make it worse. They honestly need to throw the whole app away, and hire a new dev team to start fully over. What a nightmare.

Great app when it works..but it hardly ever works. Annoying that they have "app exclusive" deals and you can't even use the app. It says unexpected error please try again. I've tried different locations and different cards. UPDATE 2 years later..nothing has changed. Still a 1 star and app is unusable. Can't redeem rewards or use codes. Can't even get to the checkout screen.

Worst app in the history of fast food. It's already slow, doesn't know how to use GPS effectively off the phone which is ridiculous. And then when you choose your store, knowing where you will be in the future, it'll make a recommendation to change it. God forbid you choose the wrong button on a confusing question, there's no way to change it or cancel your order. I'm not driving 7 me the other way to pick up my food. Absolutely horrid, Sonic should be ashamed!

As of 10/24/24: Now, the app never loads the payment screen. It tries to load it and then says it is having techncial difficulties. How can I order if I cant pay for it? Neither I nor my husband can get the app to work at all anymore. This app moves incredibly slow. Half the time the menu never opens to order. It is difficult and slow to change locations. The whole new app is horrible and no updates have improved it.

That app constantly says the menu items are not available, you mean to say every soft drink every Sonic is out??? And when you can make it to place an order it always get stuck loading the check out screen...you know what's easier than this app, order else where. Update as of 11/6/24 The app has be extremely slow. So slow I have on multiple occasions went to other restaurants because their app functions smoothly...no lags.... today after the most recent update the app is even slower & crashes.

I've deleted and reinstalled this app several times. It keeps saying there are technical difficulties and it's so slow. When I get to the checkout page and click "checkout now" it always redirects me back to my cart and I'm never able to checkout through the app. I love having the convenience of the app as well as the discounts, however it's not worth the headache.

They fixed most of the issues. Now you cant check in, though, as the app says you're 2 miles away. Now it's truly unusable. Every time I try to check out, it fails. You need to start over and completely redo it from scratch. I promise you are losing customers due to the horrible app. I know I hate it. I refuse to pay $3.29 for a route 44 and they won't give you the discount if the app doesn't work. Good luck!

SO SLOW. WORST APP I've downloaded. Constant bugs and it wastes so much of your time to navigate. Constantly logs you out and forces you to log back in and complete a CAPTCHA when you're just trying to make a quick order, it's an unnecessary waste of time. Every time I make a new order I have to select my location again, even though I've only ever ordered from one location in several years. Also app is super slow and laggy, takes forever to do anything at all. How do you give less than 1 star?
