Deleting this app. Since the Nov 1, 2024 update, the scanner no longer works. App is very slow to open. I only needed this app for the scanner, so it's useless right now. I emailed the app support multiple times, but received no response. PS: my phone is updated, and I had to uninstall and reinstall this app (no option to update), but the ticket scanner is still not working. Zero stars

Lost ability to scan tickets a week ago. Found solution at least for me. Go to Settings/Apps and open the App. Go to Storage and clear data and cache. Log back into the app and I can scan tickets again. Sadly, you may need to repeat this process each time you try to use this app until NYS puts customer service first. Lack of response wouldn't happen in the private sector. Hope this helps others.

Scanner stopped working fix.. Worked great for years, but over the past week, the scanner states "unavailable". Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but still nothing. FINALLY, after clearing the cache and data completely, and logging back in, I was able to get it working again.

I try to scan a lottery ticket and it keeps saying 404 Error This device cannot access the system right now. I never had a problem and it works on my friend's phone. How do I fix this? I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, cleared the cache, allowed all permissions, restarted my SamsungA71 android phone.I use this feature a lot and I need it to be fixed.Please help! Is it my phone that is suddenly not allowing this, is it a problem in the app or on the site? Also, where else can I scan?

This is great..WHEN IT WORKS. But it rarely works. Those who have Android & NOT IPHONES & have problems scanning tickets to get results : ~Go into the app, Clear Your Cache [NOT DATA], Force Close it and then Open it Again~ and it will work fine! Problem is U might have 2 do this Once every few days or After every scan of ticket. Its just random. But at least U can get Ur results immediately! Would B nice if the developers just fixed the app so we dont have 2 do anything but thats 2 easy!

Very slow to update results, not reliable at all. Scanning doesn't work correctly all the time. Honestly not worth it. I get faster results from other websites. Also, it's ridiculous to have to sign in all the time manually to scan tickets, instead of the app remembering your credentials. Suspect it's tracking your winnings and who you are.

When are they fixing the scanner?? I've had this app installed over a year and it worked perfectly. Very convenient to confirm winning tickets and double check losing tickets. Saved many trips to the store.. The scanner stopped working for me a few weeks ago .. I've uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times and still nothing!! Very disappointing

Had this app for well over a year (maybe two?) and able to scan tickets with no problem. Stopped working TWO MONTHS ago, saying that it was temporarily unable to connect to NY Lottery. I was patient; I work in IT and I know how things can get FUBAR and have to scramble to fix it. Tried it a week later. Two weeks later. A MONTH later. Uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled several times; It's now been over two months not working--and the app really doesn't have ANY purpose other than to scan tickets. Really--who uses it for anything else??? If the primary purpose of your app stops working, you get your IT folks on it PRONTO. To have it not work for MONTHS on end is just flat out incompetent and unacceptable. Bad job, NY. Bad job.
