This database is somewhat outdated, some of the questions have been modified on the actual exam. Good for rote memorization, I went through every section on study mode once and got an 85 the same day. Terrible for actually understanding the concepts, the reasons the app gives for the answers are the same as the answer itself sometimes.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this product. I just took the Commercial Airplane written test and most of the questions I was asked weren't in this app. Of the ones that were at least similar, most had been rewritten so that the answers were different. Even the diagrams in the test supplement were different, and those are public information. I recommend going elsewhere for your test prep. Shepard worked great for my Instrument written. I wish I hadn't cheaped out on this one.

A lot of the explanations for the questions are the answer itself, not very useful. This app has issues with saving study tests. You can "save" a test you start, but when reloading the app, "resume test" is missing half the time and all your work is gone forcing you to start over.

Passed my written but would not recommend. It'll pass but you will be questioning your confidence a lot during the actual FAA exam. I used this for my commercial rotorcraft written and I was passing the in-app test with a 90 percent on average. Just took my FAA written and there were a huge chunk of questions that I've never seen on the prepware app. I'm going to use Shepard Air for my CFI/CFII ratings from now on because I've heard better things about that test prep app.

Mediocre results. Just completed my commercial written exam and this app's question bank has fallen significantly behind the FAA's commercial test. The actual exam presented many types of questions that won't appear on prepware practice tests and explanations are not easily understood.

Can't recommend as a studying tool for the commercial written exam, just took it and most of the questions on the exam were absent from this app. It has good information but the question banks are outdated.
