If you love cookbooks but can't own them all, you will love this app. It has a wide selection of the most popular cookbooks with access to ALL the recipes. And, they are constantly adding books to the collection. It can't get better than that. I buy ebooks only because of lack of space and portability. I use this app for non e-book versions. Membership is worth every penny. I just saw they are running a free membership promotion. Now would be the time to join.

Every Recipe You Could Ever Want! Initially, I subscribed to research historical recipes. Then I discovered so much more! And no more spattered cookbooks because everything is on my tablet. If you love reading cookbooks, you'll enjoy this app immensely. Recipes and books are very easy to find. And an added bonus, the developers are always there to answer any queries. One of my favourite apps.

Really excellent app, collection and support. Searchable, organizable, clear. Well worth the subscription if you want a great source of reliable recipes. I'm a food professional, and I have recommended this to everyone at work; it has become an invaluable resource. Plus the sub is less than the price of many of the individual professional technique books on there. So worth it, and no bugs or glitches that I've found after fairly heavy use.

As all sensible people know, books about food and cooking are so much more than just a collection of recipes. They can be biography, travel book, adventure, history and more. Very few, and never the good ones are just a collection of recipes. That's why I love CKBK. I'm blind and so can't read print books, but CKBK has given me access to the full text of food and recipe books for the first time. CKBK is a fantastic service and it is brilliant to have it in app form. it is so much more than easy and instant access to great writing. The ability to search by dish, author or ingredient in more titles than anyone could buy and keep is amazing. You can bookmark recipes and add them to personal collections to revisit although take it from me, you'll bookmark far more than you can ever cook. The internet is overrun with recipes but it's hard to know which are good, CKBK takes that uncertainty away. Food books are at their best though when browsed at leisure. Make CKBK your go-to when you want to curl up with a good book.

A huge range of old and new titles from well known and recent authors. Not just a selection of their recipes but the full length book; their ideas, tips, food philosophy and stories. Plus all sorts of features on in season produce, authors history's, searchable ingredients and the ability to customize your experience inside the app. A treasure trove.
