I used to be able to recommend this app but the service has gone downhill so much in recent years. The app is also quite slow and unresponsive at times, even on new flagship smartphones. Half a day of technical issues which resulted in not being able to use any vehicles, no communication. Making the zones smaller without any notice. Overall terrible communications, push notifications just open the app without going to the relevant item or news, emails mentioned in notifications are never sent.

Too bad I can't give 0 stars...cute concept but useless app. Payment fails almost all the time, personal data which is requested is not shown in the app and can't be changed...no phone support...can't be used for something trustworthy...

I have been using the services for a while now, everything is nice and well (if you find clean cars) until there is a problem and you need customer service. When you send an email, their reply is not helpful, when you send a follow-up they don't respond. Over the phone they ask you to send an email because the call center people are not knowledgeable enough to fix the issue. Also if you ever in the middle of your ride the car has a mechanical issue, you won't get a replacement car.

The app is good until the moment of account verification. Then the only option is a photo verification that does not work. There is no way to verify your account manually, there is no 2-factor authentication, and most importantly, NO PHONE NUMBER TO CALL. I can't use the app although I have achieved Gold status.

I scheduled a call to verify my documents, when the call started the app let me know that they're experiencing high traffic so I should wait. I waited for more than an hour with the app open!! In the mean time, they let me know that I missed the call and I should reschedule - I was waiting in the call the whole time!!! I am very disappointed, I would not recommend.

🚨 New and existing customers, beware! 🚨 I was charged €234 by Poppy Cars due to a supposed police tow request. The car was towed because of construction work that had no signs or announcements. I have photos proving I parked the car correctly when I ended my ride on September 10, while it was towed two days later on September 1 I recommend considering a rival company instead of Poppy Car. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Let’s describe them in the comments!

Missing travel calculator, damage reports take too much time (last time before reserving a car, I checked the damage reports, and almost nothing was reported. When I arrived, the car was full of scratches, I lost 15 mins because of the reports 😑. In the end, I was late), the credit bonus was not recognised, and I was not able to rent the car 😢. The customer service is unreachable and not efficient. There is the space of a highway of 5 lanes for improvements
