Decent! pretty "what you see is what you get", the 1 thing got me was the permanent device p.w. so if you forget youll no longer be able to see anything youve recorded, taken or have saved with said camera on your account, right? Or no? Other thing, it has 2 modes, one for wifi and the other im not sure. Long story short i ended up totally confused! Might not bother anyone else tho.. In general a Good app. One improvement id add would be a tutorrial or general "how to" of the cam and modes. 👍

So, after a couple months i went from 4 stars, down to 2... This is a first for me.... Im on wifi when i check the cam and its 25' from my router at home, but for some reason my camera keeps shutting off and/or completely disconnecting itself from the app. after countless unbinding and rebinding of the camera, now it doesn't stay on for more than a couple hours!!! I'm at a loss for what to do, when it works, this is a great little camera, with a damn good picture; but thats a big now?... HELP!!!

It was a little tricky getting it to work the first time and could use more buttons for user to interact with more features. Like there is no way to be sure it is motion activated. The device says it is motion activated but the app does not even acknowledge that feature. I think the app and the device need to work more together. The picture quality is as high as your camera says. It is really a good app if you can understand how to use it.

This camera has been working great for me over the last few months until now..... I was watching (on my phone) some videos the camera captured thanks to the motion detection. When suddenly all my videos are a completly black screen.....? I cant even see ones i just watched anymore.....? I have several captures I'd like to save and more to go threw. If this problem can be fixed quickly I'll give 5 stars.

Update is better but still very unstable app keep saying my network has timed out. Camera is displayed for a few seconds Before message pops up network has timed out. This is very annoying. Great concept of the camera Love the magnet and the size and the positioning options but the app is Junk. Very unstable to put it best. Please fix the app and will be glad to give 5 stars.

My neighbors have been messing with my vivitar versa cameras functionality for awhile now and somehow are able to jam it till it malfunctions and you have to restart the app. If this happens while I'm recording the illegal activity, it will save the video as 596 minutes and 31 second clips, I'm no tech expert but I'm pretty sure they are hacking my cameras.

Not worth purchasing. Camera is easy to install and setup BUT camera doesn't hold a charge, doesn't record audio has sound proof with an echo background, power light is in an ON indicator the entire time (noticeable), the magnetic isn't strong and secured on the mounting stand, you have to buy into their storage cloud after purchase to get previously recordings, the camera will lose signal and time out from network, and the list goes on. Do Not Buy if you seriously need evidence or security.

Everyone who is complaining about the camera and app not working is simply not following directions correctly. I bet most just opened the camera downloaded the app and tried to connect it without even going through the steps. It clearly tells you to connect to your wifi, verification will be sent to email, you then connect to cameras wifi, and thats basically all you need to do. Just read the booklet and read the app directions.
