Used to be a game changer and awesome app. Used it all the time. Now, since "upgrade". it's pretty inefficient and will no longer use it nor recommend it. You have to wonder what the heck are developers doing when they "upgrade" things. They are obviously not users. Now, you can't enter international cities (I have family in Europe) and you can't enter temp widget on the status bar of your phone, And the worst thing is the new mapping..... a regressive, backwards attempt. Horrible app, horrible "upgrade". Would give less stars if I could. Will be uninstalling.

The new update is not as user friendly. I use this primarily for the local weather but it no longer offers me the option to open with the weather. The format & font size of the hour by hour forecast is EXTREMELY difficult to read, especially with bifocals. The old app was absolutely better than this. It is as though the developers decided to take all the best parts of the old app & trash them. Based on the other reviews, most people have the same issues & yet there has been no move to fix it.

This is a somewhat stupid app. Every morning I tap it to get the weather and watch the weather forecast video. Yet, most times app asks for me to connect to internet. I always wind up opening another app like Twitter or Discord, then the NBC app goes, oh you already have a connection. I've updated it, still the same issues of not loading, due to it no being able to find a Wi-Fi. It refuses to use my unlimited data plan. Definitely not doing me any favors. I deal with it, for now. Seeking new app

It used to be OK, but now that they change it... It has an all black background with white letters. Its impossible to read. The letters are too small. And there is no clear way to change it. It hurts my eyes so bad, I turned off all notifications but weather. And i'm not sure i'll keep that either because it too has that horrible black and white combo. Didn't they look at their own app? Its really hard to use now.

4NY has been my go to for 39 years. So naturally I wanted their app. I do have 2 big problems with it. One is the videos. I have a fast connection and other apps display video quickly. This app does not. Videos take forever to load. 2. TRACKERS! Like 500 per hour! This app allows more trackers tlhan ANY other app I have. I sent them an email and they replied "Will look into it" That was on Jan. 30th. Today is April 17th and I have yet to hear a word from 4NY.

This is a really great app to use when it comes to no TV in your room, or that it's not installed yet. When you look for some special events (Awards, 4th of July, New Year's, etc.), this is a one stop to everything, especially the news and weather. Just one more thing... Please fix the buffering issues. Thanks, and hello from California!! 😊😊

Network error message! I don't know why but my app constantly shows this message when I click on anything. "Network error the app has encountered a network error while opening an alert". I've had this notification for months now. I've cleared the cache. I've uninstalled the app and reinstalled but to no avail. Can you guys please do something about this? I loved the app prior but this is annoying. You're NBC, get your act together!

I use it every day to give me a head's up on what to expect for anticipated weather. And it's very accurate. It's kinda fun to compare the weather forecasts on this app with the forecasts for the same location with friends who are using a different app and phone. Theirs is consistently wrong. While this one is consistently right!
