I'm a WestJet loyal, platinum/gold every year depending on travel volume. 3 stars are for the app as I have to perform the check-in process 5-10 times to get through without the check-in crashing and having to start again. It's been this way for 6 months and I deleted and reinstalled the app and nothing stops the issue. I flew with Air Canada last week because I've been so frustrated by this constant issue.

Functionality is poor. Runs slow, encounters errors in various transactions. Can't remove added trips without reinstalling the app. Form completion is sub-standard. Just fix it. Pay a software engineer a few thousand dollars and they'll have it fixed in a week.

Slow ... So slow. It takes longer to check in with the app than it does at the airport. It reminds me of dial-up internet. I don't even bother trying to upgrade or change seats anymore either for fear of breaking it and having to start over. And this isn't a one-off, it has been so frustratingly slow for so long I'm amazed they bothered to invest in StarLink (unnecessary) while their app (necessary) is clearly in need of upgrades.

Garbage. Check in doesnt work. In flight doesn't work. Wi-Fi doesn't work. Sign in required, click, copy this link to continue, copy, nothing happens, no sign in option. Junk. Put tv's back in the seats so people can access inflight entertainment. Fix your app, it's a total embarrassment. Worse than westjet customer service. 0 stars, absolute trash.

I'm not sure why people download this app. We were able to watch all of the in-flight movies and TV shows and play games and do all of the other things, including getting flight data information. They claimed that we could get internet if we had the app, but I did have the app and I couldn't get it to work. When I opened the app, it said I didn't have an internet connection! AI for this app claims that you HAVE to use for in-flight entertainment, which is yet ANOTHER reason to not trust AI.

It would be great and more convenience to have an option to allow end user to use the credit from the "Travel Bank" balance, so that we don't need to call and wait so long in line just to use up the balance from Travel Bank. It is very troublesome and time consuming. Similar to a checkbox during payment process in other e-commerce website to redeem from Gift Card. Thanks for your consideration for the next enhancement to the app and website. Thanks

This app seems to never actually be able to do any of the things it is supposed to. I seem to spend way more time getting a notice that it can't connect with Westjet right now than I do managing to do anything like check-in or use my boarding pass. Deeply frustrating, especially when the website defaults you back to the app that doesn't work.

App works good when it works, but more often than not, can't connect to the WestJet server to get personal information (vouchers, etc.). 2024, 5 years after my last rating. Still as slow as molasses. Went to check in and got to the credentials page. "Please enter your information below". There is nowhere "below" to enter information. Only a continue button, which when pressed, gives me an error saying I have missing information. That would be because there is nowhere to enter any information.
