I loved the app I have taken part in projects like these for years. A few things need worked on. It does randomly change your research project you have selected. Then starting this morning it will not run the new tropical cyclone modeling phase 4. It says it needs an update but the app and the phone does not show any update needed. Please fix this problem and I will change the review. Thank you!

Great app but occasionally will stop connecting & the "Connect me!" message appears as if there is no Wi-Fi or mobile data connection available when there is. When that occurs, if I open it through the persistent notification, then it appears to connect but just stays at 0 Calculations for hours & even several days, usually until a new version of the app is released. Once updated it starts working again. It has been doing that again the last few days, so I've been checking for an update often.

The app keeps switching to a different project randomly, without my permission. That wouldn't be a problem by itself, but more recently that switch causes other apps that were open to crash. I've lost sleep and fitness data I was monitoring because of this. Dream Lab is currently unusable and akin to malware, which is a shame because I've had the app for so long so I know it's a new issue

Premise of this app is great, but issues remain that detract from the experience. For instance on my Samsung S20, the app keeps pausing to maintain optimal device temperature. That's a good thing to prevent damage to the phone and/or battery, but perhaps throttle the CPU's a bit to allow some computation, rather than none at all due to the app being paused. 75% is better than none,

This app works great. It does not interfere in any way with the normal, or even heavy use of my phone. There is absolutely no reason to not download this app - unless of course, you like cancer. Update: There was a period of time that I noticed the battery was being drained by this app even while charging. It seems this has been corrected. Bravo! It is still a great app. Hopefully it can be used to combat COVID-19.

A great way to passively help the world. What could be simpler than plugging in your charger, selecting a research project, and letting your phone handle the rest? It's great to see that apps and websites like exist. Just imagine if everyone with a smartphone had this. I've yet to run into any sort of problem, and I've used this for a few years now. I very much approve of this app.

Great app but why does it keep saying zero calculations after hours being on? I have looked in the help section of the site and am finding no answers on that issue. Thinking I may have gotten ahold of a bad download I also deleted it and reinstalled it. Other than that I love that you just open it up, get it going and go off to bed! I first heard about DreamLab when I listened to the together at home concert rebroadcast on YouTube. I had to download it and try it. Really good app.!

The idea is amazing and very productive, but I normally charge my phone on a regular basis, not only during the night, and cant prevent the app from working automatically. This is a bit frustrating as sometimes i need my phone to charge fast and the app running doesnt allow it. Is there any on/off switch or setting of work between this time range only? If not it would make a huge improvement.
