Downloaded this on recommendation, and was surprised how comprehensive it is. Although clearly in its early stages of development, the app takes the duolingo-style learning to another level with useful historical context on the accent and even sends your recordings off to experts to examine & tailor the tips to your specific needs. As well as giving more general advice while that is in the process. V. useful for performers 👍

Absolutely phenomenal accent training. Perfect for anyone looking to perfect an accent, particularly those looking into auditions for roles outside their regional dialect (UK Brit looking at General American, or someone from Cornwall hoping to utilise a Scottish Accent) The tutelage from the voice coaches is fantastic and the support team behind Accentify were quick with solutions to ensure ease of operational access regardless of the platform you download it to. Highly Recommended!

The app's concept on teaching accents is so great, also the effort that coaches put on reviewing the audio files is so honorable and makes us embarrassed fr🙏 But the app itself has a lot of work to be done, since there's a lot of missing features (like replaying past lessons, seeking, interacing, etc.) But the most annoying thing is the voice recording quality that sometimes makes it hard to understand, even for the coach themselves.

Accentify is exactly what I was looking for! This app makes accent learning simple and engaging with its byte-sized audio lessons. The courses, like the General American accent, are well-structured and easy to follow. I love that I can practice accents in short sessions, which fit easily into my schedule. The audio quality is excellent, and the examples provided are practical and relatable. Overall, Accentify has helped me gain confidence in my pronunciation, and I would recommend it to anyone.

It's a new app so I'm giving it benefit of the doubt, but right now I don't think it's useful. It's annoying you have to go through history lesson about accent before you can start practicing. And recordings are not tested well - whatever way I speak, it's always accepted.
