Edit: I didn't change anything, but it's working again! It worked great for a long time. We just updated to Google Pixel 9 Pro XL phones, and now the garage won't open or close with the app.

Overall, I like this product. I have a SamsungS9+, my partner has an IPhone7 with a quicker response time. Mine has a delay. My main complaint, it doesn't work if I'm connected via bluetooth to another device. As soon as i disconnect, I'm golden. This is way cheaper than getting multiple clickers or a smart home system. And I can remove users, awesome. I'm sticking with this product over getting anything else.

Overall this app is good, and does what it says, but was hoping they would add a feature to let me know when my garage door is open for a long period of time (user can set time period) and notify me to close it or to have it auto-close. I recognize the device doesn't know if the door is open or closed, but perhaps the user can input the initial state, and the app can figure out the other states from there.

This app is awesome!! I've had some capability issues in the past because of my phone but GarageMate has gone above and beyond to make things work again. Works perfectly now!! It never fails me and I recommend this to anyone that want to use their phone to open their garage door. Thank you GarageMate!!!

I highly highly recommend this app, device and company. This device allows you to get rid of those clickers that you had to keep in you car. I just want to note that the support staff is extremely responsive and helpful. I had an issue with garage door opening on it ls own and sent an email for assistance. They responded back the same day, didn't think my issue was related to their device but offered to send me a replacement just in case. I found out - it was a different issue altogether. Wow

I love this device/app, but it's missing just one small thing: Android Auto integration. It'd be great to be able to open the garage door without fishing around for my phone. I'm already in my car, I ought to be able to poke at the car screen to open the door. Thanks!

Because of the Marshmallow update on the newer devices (Nexus 6P), the original chip/program on the device needed to be upgraded. Bluechip is still in the process of getting this issue resolved. When I called them I got an answer right away which is always nice given the fact that any company you call now, you have to go through a labyrinth of call redirections just to speak with the wrong representative.

Exactly what I expected and exactly what I wanted. Simple to install and set up. Works great. Easy to reason about -- no third-party server, no login password (but still secure because it requires Bluetooth pairing).
