WWMT used to have a fantastic text message notification service to push out notifications of school and business closings during inclement weather.They unwisely choose to discontinue that service and push notifications through this app. The problem is the old text message system allowed to you receive location and organization specific notifications and the app does not. Now instead of receiving useful information, you are spammed with alerts from locations you do not live. This app is useless.

love the idea of getting notifications of live local news! the only problem is when you click on the notification it takes you to the app and then it freezes. So then you go and force close the app and reopen and look for the news story you wanted to read and with a bunch of scrolling you may or may not find it.

This would be a great app if it worked properly, but it does not. When you click on a story it goes to whatever story they want to highlight instead. It's very frustrating and annoying. I wish that they would fix it. Also, the stories are biased to the left and hard on conservative politics.

When will you give proper attention to this app and update it to be more user friendly? I can always watch commercials, but the videos never load. With or without wifi. The extras haven't been updated or removed in ages. I actually rely on this app for my daily news. I can't rely on it fully, and that kind-of stinks. Invest a little time here wwmt. Please.

Imagine in a emergency situation I need to view the news and end up dying because I'm stuck watching ads

Your new is very one sided leaning very right Liberal and is at times very fake news. The news casters show their right leaning side many many time each time they go on the air. To take a break during an important Covid 19 update is dishonest, shady dispicable and sad. Why can't you share the entire new instead of putting a liberal spin on the news. I would like a more bipartisan news with equal time for difference.

app is well built and much easier to navigate and access than the Kal gazette app. AND it has local news! Something the paper is missing.

I like being able to keep up with local news and weather, several times a day. The news anchors and meteorologists do outstanding work.
