I provided a valid Qld drivers licence & great driving record, my ID "declined". Contacted support & told: "This means that you are not authorized or covered to drive any car listed on Drive mate, including cars booked by other guests.We cannot provide any further details regarding the reasons for the account decline, as our security systems and processes are protected by a non-disclosure agreement." I've used Uber Carshare/Car Next Door for years with no issues. Absolutely ridiculous!

The service is awesome. The tech can be a little frustrating and customer service, doesn't usually see the problem, and didn't offer solutions that always make sense. Think about doing things backwards avd you'll usually get where you need to go.

Do not even try to tey them. I need to take my refund to consumer affairs. the customer service is less than 0. the driver cancelled and now I can't get my money and deposit back. they accepted that over the phone and now frozen. chat response is awful. whatsapp chat is even worth. they don't have a crm system or maybe they try to just scape from the refund. each time they ask the same question whereas it should be in the crm when I refer to a ticket number.

this is a bad app. glychy as hell and poorly laid out. It has no support. Or what support you get will lie about doing anything to solve any issue. I used the in app message service 5 times and recieved no reply. I called and was answered by a lovely person with a screaming baby in the background (I bet she was cheap) I got a ticket number and then I got an email that sounded like a child had picked up a call. It soured more from here. save yourself the hastle and avoid this hustle.

Review: Very Poor Support – Completely Unresponsive I’ve been trying to reach the support team for two months now with absolutely no response on WhatsApp. It’s completely unacceptable. Emails are barely answered – if you’re lucky, you might get a reply after a week. This level of service is beyond disappointing. I’m seriously considering removing my car from their website. If they can’t even respond, how can I trust them with my listing?

Absolutely would not recommend, had a horrible experience, got charged random amounts on my card that had nothing to do with the car rentals, the support team takes days if not weeks to respond and I never got my money back, absolutely ridiculous DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP

14 days and still awaiting refund for fuel purchased on trip (car had under 1/8 of a tank at pick up) I have spoken to customer service 3 times and they're always 'looking into it' without result. edit: now 5 weeks, still awaiting refund for petrol bought, numerous attempts with customer service who pass the buck and then stop responding. The amount of time I've wasted to get a refund is staggering. Don't bother with this app, use a reputable company instead.

It is the third time I came across issues with drive mate. First time I was led to a wrong location by the map, second time the car key cannot open the car, for the third time there is even no lock box attached to the car window. Maybe car sharing business is not really sustainable that's why drive mate didn't have the resources to check its listed cars.
