the basic idea is good and the app handles fine. I kind of did not expect it to be a Germany focussed application though. Would be great if there'd be a language option on the profile and the search (though I'm from Germany I'd like to have better options to look for English speaking matches). This app can go places and has a lot of potential.

Pros - Almost no fake profiles, catered to geeks, has a nice UI and being able to see the people who checked your page is great. Cons - small userbase currently and the requirement of credits/subscription for first message, even though rest of the conversation is free. Its actively blocking the growth of this app. A daily free limit of messages, paid subscription for unlimited messaging and/or more niche features (like favorite games, shows, personality tests etc.) would be more sensible.

A lot of the website, and emails you receive, are in German, and as such most of the userbase appear from there. In terms of English-speaking users there aren't many at all, but hopefully this will increase to widen the app's popularity and use to those outside of the European mainland. The search feature could do with work as it frequently lists 0 people within a location search, even though it will also tell me that there are people in my history/bookmarked page that would fit that search as it tells you the distance on the bookmarked page. The compatibility feature may not be working right as users are either 84% or 100% compatible to me, with no other ratings ever seen. You can use both the app, and the website, to find people. To speak you do need to pay with its own in-app currency of "credits" but you can receive enough to speak to a few people by giving the app an honest rating and then emailing them, so that can be a good way to get you started and see if you wish to venture further into the app. I hope the work continues in its development as it has a very solid premise, and the foundations are present to make this a pleasant experience for people to find fellow gaming (and other geeky hobbies) partners. Is an overall good experience so far.

Wasted money. Interface is rough, and most users are German. The search function is buggy and even with my filters maxed out, I get zero results since you can only look up to 100km away. Paid for supporter AND credits, but still get "you don't have permission" when trying to get boosted for the highlighted user feature. Spent about $15 USD and all I managed was to like a few users who will never respond.

You gotta wait "a few hours" until you can actually use the app after filling out the basics. There really aren't any dating apps for "geeks" out there, especially introverts like myself, and I was hoping to at least give this a look; but maybe it's best to wait until this app matures to where you can actually try it before you choose to keep it. Uninstalling. Edit: By all means, check new accounts; but if at all possible, let new accounts see what it looks like at least. Thanks for replying.

Ran out of profiles almost instantly. I want to unsubscribe from emails but it's all in German, tried redownload app to see if I can delete account or something and it won't open Update: advised to contact via the app... despite saying the app won't load for me

This is a PREMIUM dating app, it's NOT free. The only "free" thing is to inspect it. Decent idea and design, but paywall. There is NO way to send messages first without paying. At least input a matching system of some sorts and offer a premium service to send messages without having to match, like Tinder. Why should I pay for this when I might as well meet other nerdy people on something like OKcupid? It's free and allows to narrow search by interest. The app won't grow much with this paywall.

There seems to be more geeks and nerds than normies on this site, which is great. The small user base is steadily growing, even if slowly. The biggest complaint I have, and this is a problem with almost every single dating site/app out there; Blocked profiles still show up in searches, which makes it practically impossible to find that one needle in the haystack, when you constantly have to slog through members you aren't interested in. I'd like to see better facilities to be able to eliminate profiles I'm not interested in. In the constructive criticism department I'd like to suggest creating better reporting facilities for things like duplicate accounts, which there are a number of. But other than that I'm rooting for this app and hope it gets better and gains even more members, even though ultimately I'd like to get the hell out of there as fast as possible, but not alone of course. :-)
