After having a decent experience for some time now, now there are a lot of issues that appear to be hosting/bandwidth/coding issues. Bought this over much less expensive cameras that have less features, but at least they consistently work. Lullibies on TV + one of the cameras is my go forward. SOON, no Cubo, only alternative cameras.

This was great... Until the subscription expired. Since then, there has been a significant drop in performance, of which restarting the phone, resetting the camera and reinstalling the app does not resolve. This issue is present on Android and iPhone (which my wife/mother uses). Disappointing. Update: I received an firmware update sometime around 2:44am, and my background audio setting completely disappeared, preventing me from using the app as an audio-only monitor.

Free when it first came out, now you have to pay separately for each camera for plus for a lot of defects still. High lag time especially on playback, trying to connect gives so many errors before being successful. Traveling or moving the camera is burdensome. Sometimes I can't turn on the music or view live. Added 10/04/24 Its telling me there's an update but then has no option to update? Even Uninstaller and reinstalled - nothing.

Very useful, and insightful. I wish it were easier to scroll through the history when the camera is in landscape. Especially when you are able to hear something happen in the kid/baby's room, but can't check the previous ~1 minute to see what happened. Generally you will have to wait 3 minutes to see what happened, at which point me or my spouse are in the room already.

The camera quality is excellent but the latest version of the app is making it nearly unusable. Multiple times a night it stops to give me an ad about the latest version, which I already have, and I have to close it out to get back to the monitor. It's also killing my phone battery and it never used to. The latest version takes my phone down 30% within 90 minutes and my phone is so hot when I wake up in the morning running this app. Hope the fix this version!

Have had this device for 2 years now. Was great for about 8 months then started glitching out randomly. WiFi connection drops even though it's 10 feet from router. Danger zone alerts trigger constantly when baby get near the zone. But hardly ever trigger when she actually gets up and crawls out of bed in the middle of the night. The temp and humidity sensor is trash. Seems like the app is bloated with features and hardware can hardly keep up. Unfortunate for such an expensive piece of equipment.

Would be 5 stars, but the unit keeps disconnecting from wifi. I've got very strong wifi and it's the only thing in the house that disconnects. The issue is with their device. If this gets fixed, I'll update to 5 stars as it's great while it works... When it works. Until this is fixed, save your money and get something way cheaper and more reliable. Edit: it got slightly better for a while, but it's back to being trash. Bought something else that works way better and is a fraction of the cost.

We were so happy with Cubo when we first got it. It was easy to use and had great features. Unfortunately, just as all the recent reviews have stated, it is basically a useless paperweight now. Despite months of their users reporting that the app doesnt stay connected, nothing has changed. Apparently, Cubo thinks it's acceptable for a device that parents use to ensure the safety of their children to not function. Stop adding bells and whistles and just make it do the one thing it is supposed to.
