Great if/when it works but unreliable and prone to issues. Painstaking effort to get it to connect for the first time. Gave up last time and threw away my money paid for a week unlimited vs deal with it any longer. After spending 3 days on a different trip dealing with CS finally got it to connect but most of the savings were negated paying for my local data plan to connect for those 3 days. Once it was connected it was awesome and was able to use my alternative provider for VoIP.

I got this esim app for Cuba as my regular esim (airalo) is not yet established there. I got the 2G plan figuring I would be using it every day for translation and mapping (among others). I had 4 bars for the entirety of my trip but was unable to access anything by data ONCE. even though the app advised that I was Connected. will NEVER use GigSky again and recommended that you do not either. Useless app that only took my money.

I used the Europe+Cruise for one of my phone and shared the connection with my other phone. Sharing was challenging when on port or land. So I purchased another plan but mistakenly selected the wrong region. However, without me contacting the customer support, GigSky saw my review, found the issue and refunded me the cost for the land even though it was my own mistake. Excellent customer service that deserves a big thumbs up 👍

It just doesn't work. Sim card connected to network, but internet was not available. I double checked the instructions and followed them, and tested on two phones with no success. I won't suggest using this app if you need a reliable internet connection while travelling.

Shipboard, it was next to useless. The cruise esim function was a zero star on my experience!! Travelling on Zuiderdam, I could only occasionally get H connection. Most time it would not connect. Coverage in Bermuda was spotty and only with a H connection as did half moon cay! The cruise esim was overhyped! Wasted money on the cruise portion!

Based on my experience on the Crown Princess data coverage was very spotty and unreliable. This internet was not a good replacement for the overpriced ship WiFi and GigSky was not good value based on my experience over last month. I would not choose this plan again.

It got the job done for signing up for a data plan and the data plan worked pretty reliably. I would download this again if I needed it.

DO NOT USE FOR A CRUISE. Yes, I bought 1 gig specifically for a cruise round the Med. I used my phones roaming sim whilst we were docked on arrival and turned on my esim when we left the port. When I woke in the morning there was zero left on the account so a real waste of money. Don't waste your time or money using this for any of you going on a cruise. There is no way of contacting this faceless company. I feel ripped off.
