I like this app, and it is worth the subscription. However, the text to voice (read) capability leaves a bit to be desired. The quality is quite poor and there is no way to change it. Chrome offers a better listening experience but for some reason, having a paid subscription does not prevent ads from appearing all over the screen in Chrome. Can we either have an improved listening experience in-app or removal of ads in Chrome for paying users? Other than this point, the app is great.

The app is ok but the links to the articles don't work on the "doing the 92" map feature. I haven't found another way of finding the articles. Also the web homepage flags up a message about puzzles and subscribing when I'm already subscribed and logged in. You can remove the message but it flags up again seconds later. Really frustrating! The articles I've read so far on "doing the 92" have been brilliant but it's becoming difficult to easily access them

App ignores my Always Portrait setting. Why? This is particularly annoying as I like to read in bed, lying down. It's even more annoying with the puzzles which do not work, on a mobile, in Landscape mode. As noted by another comments, why don't links in the email newsletter take one to the app? (That you have subscribed to.) The news is 5*.

So far only three stars for this app. The app itself as a standalone is good and easy to use. However, I've subscribed to a few of the newsletters and the editorial team need to address the incorrect links in these newsletters as they direct me to my browser and not the app. This means I have to sign in every time I read an article from the newsletter.

It's a good read, but the app would be better if you could tap on a story in the newspaper and have it readable on its own instead of having to zoom in. It's a small gripe, but apart from that well worth the subscription fee.

much improved app, breaking news notifications and regular news updates. dark mode has also been introduced. I would like to see more categories for news types, such a technology etc

Very useful and insightful my favourite paper from the first issue but sadly Google has blocked my subscription saying they didn't recognize me!!!

Frustrating and slow. What's the point in a news app when it's doesn't download articles in the background for viewing when offline. Recently stopped loading anything! Having to revert to the website. Poor show of an app.
