The Lawline content is great, but the app itself could use improvement. It frequently buffers and often just stops playing. And no, I'm not offline because other apps are working fine at the same time. I've tried downloading the courses to avoid the issue, but it doesn't help.

UPDATE: Shortly after I submitted the review below Lawline fixed this issue and sent me an email to confirm. I've updated my review to 5 stars. Thanks Lawline! ******* This app is broken and can't be used on your commute. Customer support confirmed that if you switch cell towers while listening on your commute, the app thinks you are offline and doesn't register that you completed the CLE. You cannot get your certificate and have to call customer support each time to get credit....

3/1/21 - App freezes often. Often it loses your place in the course, then it doesn't allow you to fast forward, requiring you to re-listen to the course. 5/17/25 Update - 4 years later, same issues. App is useless. Won't subscribe to Lawline again.

Terrible app. 9/5/2024, since the last week this app keeps crashing. For a one hour presentation, I had to reopen the app 10 to 20 times. This is terrible. This app used to be great. Not anymore.

Highly practical application for getting CLEs done whenever it suits you. Except for when you, e.g., finish a course and go to get the certificate and then the app dings you for not having completed the course. Sometimes these bugs will resolve themselves after a time. But they really need to make it more robust so you can be sure you're not wasting your time.

Edit to prior review a few days ago. I contacted them about a refund on my auto renewal charge and they refunded it quickly and without hassle. I feel bad having reviewed the entire app based on that one aspect before. I loved that I could download MCLEs and listen offline. They had important, basic, core MCLEs and some fun ones too. For the ease of use, having all my certificates in one place, and the ability to churn through MCLE hours while still learning it, it can't be beat.

An excellent app if you truly want to learn while fulfilling your CLE requirement. Great variety of courses, excellent course materials and most instructors were engaging. The app also makes it easy to track multiple states and multiple CLE providers. It also has other nice functions su h as one touch 30 seconds forward and backward as well as speed adjustments to the speed of the audio so you can save some time if you choose.

App is great when it works but it often thinks it's offline despite the device being online, or think it's on data when the device had a wifi connection. Progress is not reliabily synced. Video / audio will sometimes just cut out for no reason until you restart the app.
