Since the update, the app is working great for me! Just a heads up, for the whole program, you need a subscription. But the book is great, my study plan is awesome and the tutors are really helpful. So for anyone serious about language study, I would recommend it. For those slackers out there, stick with Duolingo.

I joined this awful app one month ago with the monthly payment. When I tried to login, after payment I couldn't use the upgrade version! I tried to cancel the subscription to no result and the given email gives no answer. Probably it's a scam and next thing I'll try with the Cyber Crime Unit to take my money back.

I froze only once, but this is one of the best teaching apps I've used. I'm still on the hiragana lessons, but I actually learned something new. This app is the only one that told me about を being a particle instead of being used in words. I with I'd known that before! So I'd say this app is great for learning to read and speak Japanese. I love it and will continue to learn with it. Btw, I haven't seen any ads yet so nothing is distracting me from my lessons!

THEY ARE CON ARTISTS do not enter your bank details. I did not receive full access to the app features once I payed the subscription. I tried to get in contact with them several times via multiple mediums to no avail. I'm currently on the phone to my bank as they are still taking funds from my bank. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CARD DETAILS!!

The desktop app is great. Works lovely and learning the language is fun, but the phone app is glitchy and wont let me login using facebook. It starts to redirect me but then brings me back to the login page. I also have to uninstall and reinstall if i want to log out. If those could be fixed I would be happy and willing to change my review

I paid for the yearly subscription but didn't get access to any of the content. Update: emailed the developer and haven't had a response for a whole month. This app is a rip-off! Update 2: Next year. No contact still. Now they've charged me another year. What the actual f...

I recently had the opportunity to try out a lingualift app, and I must say it was a delightful experience. As an avid language learner, I am always on the lookout for effective tools to enhance my language skills, and this app did not dissappoint me.

Different from other language learning apps and definitely helpful where other apps aren't. Gives a brief lesson before each segment to explain the parts of the sentence you're using. Definitely works best in junction with another language app to round out the lessons.
