It scans codes, and lets you save them. But you can't do much with the saved codes. It stores the version, error correction level, and mask, but doesn't display them to the user. You also can't bring up the saved codes full screen for somebody to scan. Generator can't do text QR codes, and crashes if I try to store a generated code.

Wonderful app. Small size, minimum permissions, open source (GPL V3), and it Just Works! At various points in the past I've needed to install a QR-code scanner. As the developer of this app notes, the Play Store is full of various scanner apps of varying degrees of scrupulosity. I think I once installed one that was around 80 MB. 🤔🤨🧐 I imagine many phones these days have a QR-scanner integrated somehow, but it is often lacking. If you need more features then I highly recommend this app!

Suits my needs perfectly. I love that it does nothing with the scanned content before I have the chance to check it. It gives me the control. Often I just want to scan something like a serial number from a bar code and copy to the clipboard - it can do that too. The only problem is that it has tends to have difficulty focussing the camera and detecting the code. I sometimes need to adjust the position and/or distance, rarely I need a second attempt. But it always gets there in the end.

I like the privacy focus, but the app lacks one core functionality any QR scanner needs: Copying the scanned value without a hassle. Currently, it requires a lot of unnecessary tapping, when the value could just as easily be copied automatically (as a setting to be enabled). This unfortunately makes this app not very comfortable to use.

Thank you! Scans different barcode types as well. Only thing missing is micro QR codes. This is the old style of "free software": High quality, no ads, no bait, no privacy infiltration - just a blessing for the world. 💚

For some reason beep signal setting is not working (can't turn off the signal). Still, application is awesome. It just does what it meant to do without useless features and ads. Best option on whole play market for sure!
