My experience is it's highly expensive, otherwise the past couple times that I have tried to use it, it has been okay. It recognized text. Although it's very finicky with distance between the phone camera and the text on the paper. I can get the same functionality out of competitor apps for either a cheaper price, or for free.

Not a real app. It immediately prompts you to "unlock full version for $99." Everything else is grayed out and literally the only interactive option is to make a purchase. Don't list your app as "free (with in-app purchases)" if there are no free features and it can't be used unless you pay a hundred dollars. I clicked around and there's not a single thing you can do in this app without buying the full version.

I am blind; and, like thousands of others without vision now have no way to accurately read documents. For 3 years this app has worked great, and then started skipping words until it progressed to the point where it does not even open; $79. is too much to pay for something that just stops and does not come back on. Please fix this app! Many want refunds, but I have faith in the developers to fix it; many others also do as well, don't let us down. thank you

The Android reader failed "right out of the box". I have tried for over a month to contact their support group, by phone and by their website support "contact us" email. No response. This feels like they have taken my money and run. After 6 weeks, with pressure from BBB and Google Play support, knfb notified me of an updated version, which I tried. The app does not crash now but it doesn't read bound books. DO NOT BUY THIS APP 😒😒

An app that started off promising, has become an utter disaster! Though it provided lots of features and good OCR quality that could have made life more accessible in general, the current state of the app has just become absolutely pathetic. Though it is a rather expensive app on Google Play, there seem to be no functional support team. Each time there is an Android update, the app becomes disfunctional. and though Android 10 has been around for a while, the KNFB Reader hasn't got around to making itself functional. the app doesn't even start on my Nokia 6.1 running latest Android. Even when it used to run, it was nolonger able to recognize shared images from WhatsApp or other apps. A seriously regrettable purchase I must say, an absolute waste!

The app stopped working after I upgraded to Android 10. For a $100 app, major bugs like this shouldn't exist. I've been using KNFB Reader since 2016 and noticed glitches after OS updates but this, by far, is the worst. The app wouldn't even launch. I hope this gets fixed soon. The app is useful when it is working properly.

once again. I recently updated my Samsung Galaxy s9 to Android 10. Yet again, knfb reader simply force closes everytime I try to run it. Knfb reader is beyond disappointing at this point. It isn't like the s9 got the update to Android 10 very quickly. You think the developers could have it worked out by now.

I have lost out on using Mike ANF be reader due to the fact that when the phone updates, is set down everything it stinks a blind person do not use. I found out this because my Amazon app has stopped reading. I called tech support and she found this problem and both the Amazon, and the knfb reader everything was not allowed such as the speech oh, the ability to read out text. When she turned this picture back on both apps, they now works. Although I had to uninstall and reinstall the Amazon app
