No way shown to get a login so what's the| point of having it in the public space? At least put in the description if it's for only specific groups

App is fine, notifications are horrible. Notifications dont come in in real time, only when I unlock phone. Then they start rolling in. I've messed with multiple settings including battery optimization. I made sure shotspotter was "unrestricted" yet I still do not get notifications

Only lets you sign in, not SIGN UP, so I had to delete the app and never got to use it.

Disabled veteran here, I would love to know where the reports are coming from. The police don't even respond anymore. Sometimes reports are right outside my window and sometimes they come from the woods. I would love to put my PTSD at ease and know if I need to watch for a round coming in the windows near my kids. It's bad enough where lots of courts won't even enter shot spotter data into evidence due to accuracy issues. Don't put an app in a public marketplace if it's not public use. 0.05/10

Excellent app. Very accurate. For those wondering why regular citizens don't have access even though it's being funded with tax paying dollars, look at it this way. Law enforcement has many tools that are used that a regular citizen doesn't have access to. Shotspotter is just that, another crime fighting tool to help law enforcement with crime.

I got excited about this app when I heard these are being installed in my area. But now I see all the reviews saying this is only for law enforcement. To explain why this is useful for us lowly civilians (who are paying for it), many of us have training and weaponry, and would like the extra situational awareness. Multiple shots I just heard - half a mile away or half a block? If the latter, having this tool would help me decide when to put my head down and hit the bunker.

This should be available to everyone. It's only ethical to have citizens warned about potential gunfire. Telling the difference between gunshots and other things is incredibly difficult. Letting people live in fear will only make things difficult for everyone, including police down the road who have to interact with the public.
