I got started with the process, and when they told me to sign up for an account to continue, it would not allow me. It kept saying "cannot read property 'updateProfile' of null," and I have no idea what it meaning I can't even move on. I have retried this multiple times, and I get the same results!!!

This app has an amazing interface and has really been helping me learn Afrikaans quite fast and efficiently! If I had just one complaint, it would be that the speaking feature isn't quite up to par; when the app prompts me to speak, most of the time it only catches a single syllable of what I say and grades me according to that. Otherwise, this is a fantastic app to learn with!

While the app is cute and does have some good content, it really doesn't feel finished. There are few words taught and no grammar explanations. In addition, one needs a premium account to get a decent experience from it (I tried a free trial). I was unable to terminate my account as well, so if I would be able to do that it would be nice.

A good app for the little I used it, tried the trial version but had to cancel the actual subscription because it only gave a yearly option. Had they divided the cost into months I'd have gone for a monthly subscription... But yearly is a bit too much and requires a level of commitment I'm not sure if I've got the motivation in keeping.

you need to pay for the lessons and also you need log your account every time you open the app, if you don't pay for the lessons you won't have access to some of the features, only 2 of them. every irritating because this Ling thing is really expensive as well

It's not bad for starting, although the UI feels too "generic website-ey", animations are too excessive(even kinda slow in low end devices) and loading times are quite long(though that may br just my device, who knows...). In general the app is not that bad, and probably one of the best in the Play Store for learning Afrikaans, but it still feels like it could be better, specially without almost everything beyond the basics blocked with a pay wall too.

Such an excellent app. Learning Afrikaans and Hindi, and really happy with the pace of learning, the quality of the courses, and the key words. I have a linguistics degree so I'm picky with learning apps, but this one is great.

Very interactive! I've been trying to learn afrikaans for a couple of years without much success. This app doesn't overload you with information or vocabulary. You control your own pace. Quite a stimulating ways of learning
