App so broken I can't even use the service. For every task it asks the location but they make you select from Google maps predictive drop down menu. It doesn't load and just spirals so I can never select an address. Would love to give the service a try and potentially change my rating but it's not off to a great start when you can't get past entering a location.

This one star is for the service, not just the app. I attempted to hire 3 different taskers. The first two canceled. The third demanded more money because he lived more than 15 min away (seems like that should be factored by the app). When I cancelled, they charged me a cancellation fee. Also, the rates increased every day (I know because I printed them). Not only the Taskers pay but the $8 service fee the app charged last night was $8 and $9 PER HOUR today. Back to CL listings for me.

The taskers cancel the tasks in the last minute. Very unreliable. They need to have a mechanism to ensure taskers are committed to the schedule. One tasker cancelled an hour before the task. In the week, I booked 1 tasker and my wife booked 2 taskers. All of them cancelled. 2 years ago the service was better. Unfortunately they have become super unreliable now. Make policies which will enable taskers do a good job.

I've never had more trouble with an app than this one. The app only worked the first time I downloaded it and now I can't access my profile. It would constantly load,but never connect even though I'm on Wi-Fi with a strong signal. I unstalled and reinstalled it, but that only made things worse. I've had to delete and redownload this app 13 times and restart my phone after each attempt. I still cannot access my account and it seems like I'm not the only that has had this issue. Use another app!

Customer service didn’t check on their side to determine why my passport picture for identity verification wasn’t working. On my side, I provided everything they requested. Yet, after several attempts to upload my passport picture, their system kept saying, “couldn’t verify, contact support,” which I did. However, I received no assistance, so I decided to remove my account completely.

Insane fees! It is not clearly explained anywhere before the task. They just mention a percentage of total will be collected as a fee. After the task is done and when its time to pay taskrabbit adds close to 38% as other reviewers mentioned. This doesn't include taxes or tips, they are separate. Whatever may be the reason, I don't appreciate the lack of transparency and clarity ahead of time.

Edit 2: work is coming back a bit but there are still glitches. Notifications can be hit or miss. And, when you don't get a notification for a same day task, they freeze your account. However, when unfreeze, you get taken off the same day list for that day. It's very frustrating. Then, on top of it all, you are unable to reach anyone on support. Support used to be excellent but now it's almost non-existant. This app used to be a full time job if you wanted it to be. Nowhere close anymore.

Crashes constantly. I can't use it at all now. Updating app and software does no good. I've restarted several times and factory reset. My wifi is very strong. App doesn't work on my wifi or when i have strong 5g connection. It doesn't even open. Immediate crash on icon press. I have a new pixel 6 running the latest app version and Android software. I don't have issues with any other apps on my device.
