The last update does not allow you use the app with out permissions. I allowed all permission and it's still not allowing me to use it. I emailed Scout but no one got back to me. Unfortunate since I have all my locations save to the app.

Pros: Simple, easy to use interface that can easily be configured to show as much or as little information as you'd like. Great for folks like me with ADHD. Also, it's accurate and has a nice looking interface. Cons: Could use a hazard reporting feature like Waze. Update: You can now type in the search box in Android Auto. The main wish I have now would be being able to reroute while navigating. Plus the reporting features. But it's not enough to keep off that 5th star now.

Used to be fantastic. Now it is complete trash. Used it just today and updates made it worse than ever. Very slow to recognize locations. It took me five miles out of my way, then had me make 2 u turns to get where I needed to be. Looking for a better option.

The latest update is horrible. Illustrations are cartoonist. There are addresses in my file I never ever drove to and not all of the ones I have. I don't know where that extra stuff came from making selections from a list that has places I never traveled to, finding the right one is difficult so i have to entered them again. used scout for years and years. I see people complained about the font size, well... now it's now so ridiculously large that it fills my whole screen. Don't like update.

Great start. I like the design and function of the map. Works well and easy to use. The daytime view is a little washed out looking and could use bolder secondary roads and names. Does not show closed roads. Speed display doesn't always show and the map seems to take a while to settle after making a turn. Gas prices are not up to date and should be updated daily at least. Would like to see crowd reporting built in.

Best GPS app in the world. It has gotten me places others could not get to. Don't know what I would do with Scout. Thanks for the update. I'm just waiting for it to tell me that my destination is the 3rd,etc on the right or left after I turn on the street I'm to be on. Excellent App. It used to work EXTREMELY Well, with the upgrades, it freezes or don't find Mr routes on real cloudy days. I use the old version still on my IPHONE more. It's more reliable. PLEASE..... fix the problems.

Don't need another social media platform - I need something that gets me to the places I go quickly simply. I uninstalled Waze because Scout was stronger, w/better ways of organizing saved locations + easier access to features I loved & convenient searches. That's all gone. Used to brag about Scout to all my Google Maps-using iPhone-toting friends, but after many years of hoping for improvement (can't remove "friends," etc), I am uninstalling. Too bad - I had loved it since Telenav!

Overall great app, did like it better before the updates. Definitely use it everywhere I travel. This App is trash now, updates are supposed to make things better not worst. I've use this app for 8-10 years & I've traveled the world. Didn't even think it could get worse but they have definitely surpassed my expectations. Now the search for a new GPS app. Any suggestions...............
