The app has had some issues for a little while now here and there, but when I tried to use it today this is the second time I've ran into issues where when I try to view a listing, after the app loads and works just fine up to this point, it says I have no internet connection, it doesn't matter if I'm on WiFi, mobile data, change my DNS, it is basically unusable when this happens. Can we get a fix for this please?

This is the worst app I've ever had the displeasure of encountering. They forced me to get insurance for a rental which was fine, until the fact they didn't & couldn't take the money for the rental itself off multiplie dif cards, just the insurance money. Chat support was a joke as I just kept going back in circles, with no real way to get to a human without a booking. That I couldn't book. When I finally called the number I had to wait over 20 mins to take to a person who was very rude.

The app isn't bad, but the info is misleading. A place might be $200 /night, but the total for 2 nights is over $800 after taxes and fees. It's especially bad since the "host fee" that is tacked on can be $200-$300 alone. Maybe not too bad if you are going for a week or more, but it is untenable for short trips. No thanks VRBO...back to Airbnb.

I have booked an apartment in Dubai, host is not responsive and I have been calling back and forth with support and have been lectured what their policy is. Imagine you are about to board your flight, my flight has long layover& it's more 24hr prior to the booking, yet I don't know how to get into the apartment late night after long flight, regardless of wasted reservations cost, I have to look for another place in rush! I was on call for 45 before line dropp I would not recommend using VRBO.

They clearly take a huge percentage bc I am seeing their prices aren't competitive, they're just expensive AF! I asked to see the TOTAL price, still only shows nightly pricing w\a tiny tiny total price at the very bottom which is hard to see. The interface is ugly and impersonal. The scrolling is a nightmare, tried scrolling down fast, it stuttered and the flipped back to the very top. I thot VRBO would save my from ABB, I was sadly wrong. Uninstalling ASAP!

Terrible login experience where I had to get an code emailed to each time I left the app and came back, if only for 10 seconds. Now it lets me log in, but when I try to do anything, it takes me to a screen telling me to log in again. When I delete the app and restart my phone it works again, once. Awful experience - kinda crazy that the size and scale of its new owner somehow made things worse. What a wild world.

what's the point??? they bug you incessantly to get the app, even though you can do anything you need to do on their website (from your phone). then when I actually have an issue with a VRBO renter and need to use the messaging feature it lets me type 3 paragraphs then crashes, not saving any of that I've written. multiple attempts, then it's back to the webpage. please leave me alone about downloading ANOTHER app unless it's actually going to improve my experience in some way!

Terrible search, no reviews. I tried to search properties for specific dates, but it showed me everything - including places unavailable on my dates. I had to go to Expedia to get actual results for my search. It also doesn't have any of the reviews aside from the rating. However, Expedia showed the reviews plus the ratings so I know there were some. Basically useless for actually finding something.
