Have an AC Milan 9K Wifi Smart Home. The app can control the AC without a problem but the "smart home" functions are completely useless. For a smart device I would have expected to be able to: 1) Make it start cooling when a specific room temperature have been reached. 2) Turn off the glowing light. 3) Turn off the beeping sound. 4) Force it to use the most silent settings. 5) Connect to google (as promised), samsung or any other andriod smart apps. Neither of these work!

The translation is laughable. The reliability of the app is non-existant. After figuring out the instructions it eventually connected. Only to disconnect the following day for no reason. The the app cannot find it unless you try multiple devices multiple times (iPad, phones etc). Then it will disconnect again after a short period of time. The smart feature implementation is extremely poor.

If anyone is struggling to connect their AC unit you may have the same problem i did. The unit only recognises 2.4Ghz wifi. If you disable 5Ghz on your router while you set it up it should work fine. Just re-enable it afterwards an make sure you leave the 2.4Ghz active aswell. 2.4Ghz receivers are cheaper and as these are budget units they use the cheaper components obviously. After that the App works... OK... ish.

Could not figure out how to connect, all available instructions are written in badly auto-translated and barely understandable english and refer you to the app and the app refers back to the instructions, mentions a "reset button" but never tells you which button that is. Spend a while reading every available instruction and trying every button bit could not figure it out...

Cannot connect air conditioning to WiFi. Edit; eventually connected by pressing the temperature + on the unit. Instead of using the Woods app I am using the Smart Life app which is the code behind the Woods app anyway.

Feels like a prototype rather than a finalized app. Moreover, the latest update (August 2022) was almost a year ago at the time of writing this. Obviously they are not committed to improve this app. But at least it has the core features and they work.

Not working as intended. Completely unable to connect Venezia 18k smart home both by manually adding product or auto scanning. Pressing the "night mode/reset wifi" button (5 sec) does absolutely nothing

Just bought Woods 9k,the app is absolutely useless. it just keeps crashing as soon as it's opened. It's a complete waste of time, would give it zero stars if I could .
