Great app for a great newspaper. Easy to use and great articles. But two small points of critique. The app is missing a widget option which shows you the latest news feed for a quick oversight on your phone's homescreen. Second point is that even when you have a subscription, adverts are shown (not as many) but still I'd expect not to receive any adverts as a paying customer. You could add a pay option for not getting adverts, I just don't want any adverts at all when reading my news.

I love the newspaper itself and the articles but the app itself could be a lot better, e.g. The search function is pretty useless. You can type in the title of an article and still it will give you 100 options and the article you were looking for may easy be n. 90. The quizzes are also cool, but why can't I see which ones I've already done? Or have a save option and continue a crossword puzzle? That would make things a lot easier.

Please introduce the possibility of opening email links from your newsletter in the app. This is currently a major nuisance for sz-subscribers - I can't read some sz-exclusive articles on the website whereas I could read them in the app, as I'm signed in there. Having to find the article of interest by myself everytime is really time consuming and much of the time I don't do it. For inspiration, have a look at how the 'medium' app does it.

Most things work, except: Sharing articles (especially from sz magazin) and - closely related - opening links with the app. It is completely useless to share a link to an article behind the paywall with somebody else if they cannot open the link with the app. Sometimes this doesn't even work within the app (links to other articles are opened the browser instead of the app, where I'm not logged in, so I cannot read that article)

Materials ofren feel subjective, lack proper situations, leave little room for Interpretation due to heavy leftist lean (Left-leaning myself.) and informal language. Readability is hampered by inadequate typesetting, small fonts, and nonexistent UI layout/separators. Sentances are gate-keepingly long and complex. Overpriced, considering release frequency, reaction time to major events, and digital product nature. Subscription cancelation is hidden, complicated, unfriendly, and predatory.

Easy to navigate. Works smoothly. Only very few articles can't be displayed in the app and will be opened in the browser

The SZ App makes it deliberately impossible to copy text from the majority of articles - which is poison for online sharing. Which on the other hand should be something the newspaper should support, as it drives traffic and subscriptions.
A Google user
The dialogue asking for a review pops up a bit too often for my taste, apart from that the app is a nice, concise and responsive view of the SZ web site.
