After last update 1.2.4, app stopped push notifications (everything turned on and enabled, both app and device settings). I can see in-app messages but i can not be notified about them. Downgraded to 1.2.2 and everything is working properly again. S24 ultra, firmware updated. 1-star only for the last update, to encourage team to deal with. (edit) the problem was with 1.2.4. version, still this update available (edit) 5 stars again, 1.2.5 update seems working properly

Update: October 2024: The tracking of each journey is very good, accurate and detailed. There is good contact with the tracking centre giving me confidence that my car is being monitored at all times. I had a glitch which was sorted remotely within minutes. Such a hands-on response is good and something I look for in apps.

Very good system and app, but ever since I upgraded from the metatrak app to meta trak plus some of my shorter journeys don't show (like if I just pop to the short 5 mins away) Other than that everything works as specified :)

I have only used the app since the update, no prior experience. It works very well for me, love being able to check on vehicle at any time, a god send when it's away for a long time at repair shop. Use the engine block function everytime it's parked up which gives peace of mind. Once or twice the unblock command has not worked, due to signal probably (or perhaps rookie user error) but the Bluetooth emergency unblock has got me out of trouble. Also like being able to see journey history. 👍

Stuck on Engine ON, Incorrect location more than 2 times in last 2 month. Could not turn immobiliser ON, called customer services, excuses with mobile signals that app uses, vehicle is un protected, which a failure of meta track system. Late for work once as I could not turn off the immobiliser. Spent over £1100 for this system and failed on multiple occasions.

The app could do with a scheduled engine immobilse feature, which means i could schedule an engine immobilse say 10pm to add that extra layer in the event i forget to do this manually every night. It also would help overcome the issue whereby i can start the car, even if the fob is in the house, these fobs have a long range on them.

Recently started using the app and everything has been fine. Now the tracking function has just stopped working. I have to move about the map to find the vehicle. The auto locate function just stays red. There no black button anymore.

Been ok for 3 months then not for 3 months. Displayed ignition as ON with battery voltage 14.7 when car had not been started for 20 hours. Left car running on drive apparently it done 0.09 km and voltage same. What made it worse was when I emailed the Metatrak Customer Service/Tech they didn't seem that bothered. - Blurted out software processes, being a techie I had to point out the failings... Is my car protected from theft? Doesn't sound like. - Bit worrying. Very disappointed. Not cheap ..!
