This app seems near on useless. Sure it might list locations of things, but is clunky, cant make an account, cant save favourites and cant even make a planned trip. Far netter options out there like wikicamps or camp mate, even though this app is powered and created by campermate. Maybe they've deliberately sabotaged it.

App was the worst part of my campervan experience. We had good cellular coverage, the instructional page for the campervan kept saying "an error has occurred" while we were trying to view the instructions for how to use the campervan, the embedded YouTube videos were playing the the whole app would go black and say error. Tried 3x phones. What's worse, the THL app wouldn't even let me click the video to open it in the YouTube app to actually watch it. Had to call support & wait 15 mins instead.

It's great when you preload the maps and quite accurate when we used the app on a 3500km drive. So amazing at locating petrol stations, dump points, gas refills and other relevant unique camping needs. It would be even better if you could put your journey into the setting directly too. It's so good, put my mind at rest in new areas and made the trip safer.

Reality Bites

Tried downloading the offline maps on 3 different networks. Failed every time with Check Your Internet Connection. Plenty of storage available on phone. App up to date. So no maps for us. Sucks. Nobody to solve the prob at check-in, not that they should be tech experts.

Unable to download the offline maps - just says 'oh no something went wrong' despite being on wifi, ample storage and permissions all allowing it. No help at pick-up point, so had to download the sister app CamperMate, and that works - so I suggest you use that one as far better!

Oh, no something is wrong .......... Limited to my phone, but not working on my tablet; OnePlusPad2, reason ?. Offline map is not working, all information is better suitable for a view on a tablet than a phone; instructions, videos, rental agreement etc.

I hired a 6 beds campervan .absolutely great experience. The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly. Helped us to download the app. No issues with the vehicle. Clean and full of amenities. Great way to have a holiday without worrying about accommodation. Definitely doing it again. Family had a good time.

Great for navigating unknown areas, and finding suitable types of overnight stays with campers. Very helpful with distances to chosen locations, and to navigate off beat roads to scenic spots . Very happy with app, and its free, also interactive to add spots not marked. Great.
