I really enjoy the app for my daily dose of news. It's just too bad that there are so many notifications categorized as "important news". For example, every day they upload a new podcast, it's an notification under "important news". So it's either turning of all notifications, including breaking news, or swallow the bitter pill and accept the podcast notifications as "important news" notifications.

I'm using this app on a daily basis. Because of good and trustworthy content. Which is quite up to date. One feature that would help the users a lot, is the ability to search the content. Something like searh a word or phrase within the current article or the articles of a given day. Thanks again for the good news 🙏

Decent app for keeping up with the news. Layouts are nice. Major point for improvement: clarify that breaking news includes banalities like a new podcast episode and sports anchors changing jobs so people can choose to keep up with this "breaking" news OR (preferably) fix either the app somehow notifying people for non-breaking news or educate whichever team assigns the 'breaking news' tag to non-breaking news on the definition of breaking news.

Videos in the app are not playing, this has been te case for weeks or longer. They also play in full screen automatically which makes the experience extremely clunky. At this point just use the Autoplay feature like Facebook or Instagram. I don't understand, does nobody test the releases? Is the budget finished?

One of the best apps for the latest news! Suggestion: Please add an option within the app to disable notification sounds. The default notification sound (on Android in my case) is too unpleasant.

No option to zoom in on tablet on articles, no option to set bigger text font, no option to turn on dark mode on off, need to follow dark, white or system based, you want to change it, it takes 1000 steps to change it, no 1x tap on the screen overlay buttons that disappear with all the options, font, dark mode on off, share article, cast... Why we need 3 different apps, vrtnws, vrtnu, vrt sporza why is this not 1 damn app??

Nice user experience although the inability to continue playing a video while switching between horizontal and vertical mode is frustrating! Please fix this.

Dear VRT, I don't think that the umpteenth article about the Red Devils is hardly important news. I want to get important news notifications, but I think these should be of social interest and take into account that I don't give a flying **** about any coverage you might have about anything soccer related. Please make the notification categories more granular, and then make proper use of them. I'm deeply disappointed that I didn't hear a peep about our national volleyball teams' stunts.
