The experience was good initially but it has degraded significantly. The app is poor and doesnt provide accurate details. The driver tracking is not enabled all the time. It's difficult to communicate with non-english speaking drivers and there is no accountability. They would come at their convenience without following mentioned pickup time. Hitch customer service is also not available at all times. Why would you provide a time slot if you're not available at that time to assist.

Constantly glitches throughout the entire app not only on the drivers side but confirmed with the passengers as well that it happens on their end too. Customer service isn't always open to help drivers which is a safety issue. Glitches in payments for drivers then told to wait for management 1-3days. Policies and procedures are vague which leaves room for them to adjust in their favor.

Pros: None. Cons: Very difficult to find the rides. If the rides get accepted, they are canceled 4 days before the ride. Amount automatically gets credited to the wallet. I guess that's their source of revenue. Get the money through interest in the wallet. Dear team at Hitch, hugely disappointed with the way a simple ride was handled.

Install app, try to set up as driver. Wants your driver's license, click to take photo, error msg comes up saying scanning not available. Have to close out and click Take Photo again, scanning not available. Click Trouble Scanning, app wants to take a profile photo. Delete app and call it a day.

Referrals don't work, and no instructions provided on how to use them. Customer service is terrible. Deleting an account doesn't really delete it. The only thing they want you to do is spend more. NO satisfactory resolution. In fact, no resolution at all. No way to mitigate glitches caused by the Hitch App and Hitch Process. No willingness to have a conversation, the agent ended the chat mid-conversation. Will not be using or recommending Hitch. Leaving a 1★ review, but would leave 0 if I could.

It's was my first time using Hitch, and I had the worst experience since the trip kept on being delayed continuously for 2 hours, i have been standing at the pickup location. I tried to reach the support, which they responded to the next day 😒.

While not exactly fixing the tip option persay, they did however, allow me to send a tip later, through their super awesome customer service chat. So far, they've responded quickly every time I've had an issue, and resolved it. They make sure to contact me when my driver will be late too. Which is also pretty cool. I've had a few driver cancel on me, but they were quick to resolve the issue and I really appreciate how quickly they resolve problems.

For me, the hitch has been affordable and helped me commute between cities. I like that it has so many locations at same cities. The only difficulty I have been facing nowadays is the driver arrival is late but can't blame them entirely as it's because of traffic conditions. However an early heads up would be appreciated since the pickup locations are a bit away from my place.
