I called PRT and they stated this app isn't official despite it using their name, branding, and contact info. Fairly useless app like the rest of the agency. A lot of information and schedules are inaccurate or just never updated. Live tracking option links you to the "Transit" app. Transit is a god awful app where you guessing is pretty much as good as using the app. PRT is a print example why driving should be a right and more a privilege. You guys suck to such an extent it's almost impressive

DO NOT buy bus passes via this app. They will defraud you, steal your money, and refuse to issue a refund. The app has a strict limit on device transfers. This sounds fine in theory. However I had to reset my device recently and was permanently locked from my account and the money I'd spent for transferring the app. It never changed devices. I've only ever used this app on the same exact phone each and every time.

This app has been super glitchy since Samsung updated to UI 5.1. It refuses to open if I try to open it when another app is open or in the background. I've had several embarrassing moments recently where I held up others trying to board the bus in the cold while I'm trying to get this to function. The ability to close the app just by hitting the back button seems to have disappeared as well. I have to either hit the home button or close all my apps to get it to go away when I'm done.

app is awful. tethering transit to having: -active wireless account -fully functional (charged, uncracked) expensive piece of rider supplied tech -google acct (no apk option) is misery. as a reduced fair rider of allegheny county go program i fully resent being required to use this app and all of its conditions to access a public benefit. PRT has said in 2025 the go program will support connect cards. as soon as available, this app is banished to the nether realm.

The app is easy to use. That said it's absolutely ridiculous that a ticket that I've purchased would only be available to use for 30 days! So if I plan ahead and then don't use them PAT just takes my money and no ride. And I have to buy individual tickets, can't just load up my card and then have them take the fare off the balance.

Unable to login at all. I've tried changing my password several times but even that doesn't work; it just keeps throwing up the same error message "invalid username/password". Well the username sure as heck is correct...you're sending the reset passwords to my email after all.

Glitches sometimes if I check stop times will switch an active pass to inactive and not allow loading until the app has rested at least 5 minutes and rebooted. Busses fall off the schedule if they've been replaced with a new shift.

This app tells you nothing about your bus schedule, or if a bus has been delayed or canceled. Today I arrived at my stop 5 minutes before my bus was scheduled to arrive, and nothing. So I had to wait 45 minutes for the next bus, which never came either. No indication that the route was canceled, and all the customer alerts were relating to other construction projects in the area at the time, such as the one on the Mon incline. Just another testament to how unreliable PRT is. SMH
